Hua Kai didn't say what she wanted to say. She reached out and hugged Ye Yifan, patting his back: "You still have me. I'll always be on your side."
Ye Yifan nodded, but remained silent.
Hua Kai knew this man was proud and didn't want her to see his current expression, so she just quietly hugged him.
Ye Yifan straightened up and turned around only after someone came out of the hallway. It took him a while to calm down.
Hua Kai tugged at his arm: "Let's go upstairs."
Ye Yifan agreed and followed Hua Kai upstairs.
Hua Qingyi had just prepared milk powder for Hua Kai when he heard the door open and said, "Kai Kai is back. Quickly wash your hands and come drink your milk."
Hua Kai said to Hua Qingyi, "Brother, Ye Yifan isn't feeling well today. He'll stay at our house for the night and squeeze in with you."
