Hua Kai went to the Friendship Hotel and asked at the front desk. The clerk told her that Mr. Ye had left a message for her in room 302 and that she could go there.
Hua Kai went upstairs to room 302.
The door was open, and Ye Yifan was teaching Hua Wanjiang how to use the bathroom facilities, how to take a shower, how to use the toilet, and so on.
Hua Kai smiled as she watched Ye Yifan's patient demeanor. She couldn't let this guy slip away; otherwise, where would she find such a good man? But there was no rush to change their relationship right now; she just needed to keep an eye on him.
Ye Yifan washed his hands and came out to Hua Kai, saying, "I've only booked this room for two days because I'm not sure how long I'll stay, and I don't know how you'll take care of me. I'll extend the stay once it's settled."
Hua Kai said to Ye Yifan, "I won't thank you. It's getting late, you should go to work. Don't come over at noon, we'll probably be at the hospital then, there will be a lot of people there, it'll be too chaotic."
Ye Yifan said, "We'll talk about it later. I'm going back to work now. Call me if you need anything."
Hua Kai agreed, "I understand, anyway, I can't find anyone else."
Ye Yifan smiled: "That's good."
Hua Wanjiang came out and said, "Xiao Fan, your uncle has caused you trouble again."
Ye Yifan smiled and said, "Uncle, I already said we're family, no need to be so polite. I'm going to work now."
Hua Wanjiang and Hua Kai saw Ye Yifan off, then returned to the house. Hua Kai placed the steamed buns she had brought on the table: "They were originally meant for all of you to eat together, but my third and fourth uncles ate quite well, so there's no need to give them any. Dad, you eat something first, I'll get you some hot water." With that, she found a thermos and went out to get hot water.
