After saying goodbye to the two elders, Jiang Xiaoli and Cao Jie got into the car, when a familiar car slowly drove up.
She rolled down the car window and waved to the person inside, "Second Uncle!"
The two got out of the car and chatted for a bit. Jiang Ruixin said, "Xiao Li, your mother's test results are not too bad. Just follow the doctor's advice, don't overwork yourself, live a healthy life, and there won't be any problems."
Jiang Xiaoli smiled and nodded, "I feel much more at ease after receiving your doctor's email."
It wasn't that she didn't trust the chief physician at Fuwai Hospital; it was just that she dared not let her guard down regarding her mother's health.
Jiang Ruixin nodded, "Okay, then you should go back early. When you're done with your work, come visit Xiao Ning when you have time. She often talks about you."
She smiled and nodded. "Okay, I understand."
Back at the hotel, Cao Jie pointed to the lobby lounge area and said, "Chairman Jiang, look, why is Yuan Dong sitting there all by himself?"
As Jiang Xiaoli took out her phone to dial Xiao Jincheng's number, she said, "It has nothing to do with us."
Xiao Jincheng answered quickly, "Little Pear, are you back at the hotel? I'm in room 1603. I have your room key. Ye Tang offered to share a room with Cao Jie, so I've arranged it that way for now. Ask Cao Jie if she doesn't want to, and if she doesn't want to, we'll give her another room."
After hanging up the phone, she asked, and Cao Jie shook her head, "No need to book another room, I'll just share a room with her. I want to see what kind of trouble they're planning to cause."

The two women separated in the elevator. Cao Jie and Ye Tang's standard room was on the 12th floor, while Jiang Xiaoli and Xiao Jincheng's suite was on the 16th floor.
Xiao Jincheng opened the door, yawning, "I was thinking you'd be back in a while."
She took the keys and said, "I chatted with my grandparents for a while. I'll see the others when I'm done with my work these next couple of days."
She smiled and said, "My grandfather and uncle have already spoken with the people from 'Polly' and 'Sevier,' so our trip to Great Britain should go very smoothly."
Xiao Jincheng's drowsiness vanished instantly. "Great!"
After expressing his joy, he said, "Once I'm done with this, I must go to the Jiang family to thank them properly."
Jiang Xiaoli waved her hand, "Uncle Xiao, I also have a stake in the company. If you're being too polite, it would be too formal."
There's one more thing she didn't mention... Jiang Chengle has been nagging his father a lot these past few days.

"Haha," Jiang Xiaoli mumbled while brushing her teeth, "You didn't sleep all night?"
"I slept for a while, but I can't sleep soundly when you're not around."
She spat out the bubbles in her mouth. "Ayu, you're a big girl now. You need to learn to sleep by yourself."
Zong Jia chuckled softly, "Little Pear, how about we video chat?"
She thought for a moment, "Then wait a moment, I'll wash my face and take the stuff out to test it, I'm not sure if it will work."
"It's okay, I'll wait for you."
They didn't hang up the phone. After washing her face, Jiang Xiaoli opened her suitcase and rummaged through it.
Laptops, webcams, various charging plugs, and connecting cables—a whole bunch of stuff.
She muttered to herself, "I knew this suitcase was so heavy. Look how much stuff you packed in it."
She plugged in the network cable for the computer and suddenly realized, "You told my mom not to put the kettle in because you were worried there wouldn't be enough room for all this stuff, right?"
Zong Jia said helplessly, "Little Pear, you're really good at turning the tables."
She pouted, "Stop reading, stop reading, I'm turning on the computer."
"Why isn't the camera working when I plug it in?"
Zong Jia remotely guided her through the process, and after a few minutes of fiddling around, a picture of her and her hotel room appeared on the computer screen.
She logged into "SOSO" and said, "Okay, send me the video now, I've got it sorted out."
Soon, small boxes containing images of the two people appeared in the chat window.
Jiang Xiaoli exclaimed sincerely, "Now I finally understand why Brother Le kept urging you to push forward with this video chat feature."
The network was terrible, and the video would lag from time to time, but that didn't stop the two of them from grinning at each other on screen.
Zong Jiayu smiled and said, "Yes, I'm happy just to see you when we're not together."
They chatted for more than half an hour before Zong Jia took the initiative to end the video call.
"If you're tired, go to bed early. We can talk again when you're awake."
Jiang Xiaoli nodded, raised her hand and waved at the camera, "Okay, goodnight."
The next morning at breakfast, Cao Jie mysteriously pulled her aside.
"Chairman Jiang, I feel like I've figured something out!"
Jiang Xiaoli found her expression amusing and asked, "May I ask, Detective Cao, what do you know?"
Cao Jie leaned close to her ear and whispered, "Last night I knocked on the door of my room for a long time but no one answered. When I went back to the lobby to ask the front desk to help me get a new room, Yuan Dong came over."
He explained that Ye Tang was a heavy sleeper, then made a phone call from the front desk. When we went upstairs together, Ye Tang was waiting for me with the door open!
Seeing her confused expression, Cao Jie continued, "I'm sure Ye Tang wasn't in the room when I knocked! She didn't look like she had just woken up at all, and she had a strange smell on her!"
"A strange smell?" Jiang Xiaoli's mind raced, and she instantly understood what had happened.
She couldn't help but laugh and shake her head. "It seems that Yuan Dong was waiting for us downstairs last night, but he was distracted when we got back and didn't notice."
