Chapter 708 Xiaoxiao's 100-Day Celebration

Over the next period of time, Jiang Xiaoli attended the year-end summary meetings of several companies, and today it was "Huaxin Group".

Since Zhao Zhen'an ousted his father to focus on real estate development, Huaxin Group's performance has shown a clear upward trend.

Judging from this year's financial situation, all four real estate projects developed by the company have been sold out, and the group's strategic adjustment has been remarkably effective.

After the meeting, Jiang Xiaoli and Zhao Zhenan smiled and nodded, "Chairwoman Jiang, you've worked hard this year. I hope the group will continue to grow and achieve even greater success!"

Zhao Yuanfang sneered, "Fool! You've picked up a sesame seed and lost a watermelon!"

She knew that Zhao Yuanfang was still brooding over the "Yujia Technology" matter; he just couldn't stand seeing the company he failed to acquire doing better and better.

Zhao Zhen'an didn't give him any face at all. He smiled and said, "Chairman Jiang, don't mind him. My dad is getting a little senile now."

Rest assured, as long as I'm in charge of Huaxin Group, our cooperation will last a very long time.

Jiang Xiaoli smiled and nodded, "Of course, I believe in Chairman Zhao's abilities, and I believe that real estate is enough to make us a fortune."

After all, it's not right to always try to eat from someone else's pot, is it, Mr. Zhao?

Zhao Yuanfang was so angry that he was furious.

He slammed his hand heavily on the table. "Zhao Zhen'an! You're just going to let this little brat humiliate your old man like this?"

Zhao Zhenan said coldly, "The company is doing so well now, so stop finding fault. You should use this free time to go home, grow some flowers, raise some vegetables, and go fishing."

Zhao Yuanfang was so angry that he waved his hand in the air for a long time, but Zhao Zhenan had already turned back to continue chatting with Jiang Xiaoli, completely ignoring him.

Seeing the struggle between the father and son, Jiang Xiaoli chuckled and said, "Chairman Zhao, I think we should call it a day. See you another day."

Zhao Zhenan nodded and said, "Okay, Chairman Jiang, I'm really sorry to have made you laugh."

She waved her hand dismissively, "It's nothing, it's nothing. Every family has its own problems."

After leaving Huaxin Group, Cao Jie asked in the car, "Chairman Jiang, we don't have any other plans this afternoon. Shall we go to the company or go home?"

Jiang Xiaoli looked back at the "Huaxin Group" sign and suddenly thought of "Huarong Yayuan".

She said, "Wait a minute, let me make a call and ask Chengcheng."

The phone rang for a long time before Yan Chengcheng's hoarse voice finally came through.

She asked worriedly, "Chengcheng, what's wrong with your voice?"

Yan Chengcheng took a sip of water and continued, "I caught a chill yesterday and have a slight fever this morning, so I'm sleeping at home."

Jiang Xiaoli decisively said, "Just wait at home, I'll come over in a bit."

After hanging up the phone, she instructed, "Go to 'Huarong Yayuan,' and find a 'Guizhi Steamed Bun Shop' on the way to buy some porridge and light side dishes."

About 40 minutes later, the two of them rang the doorbell.

The sound of footsteps was accompanied by meows.

Yan Chengcheng opened the door, and behind her was a railing about one meter high.

As Jiang Xiaoli took off her shoes upon entering, she asked curiously, "Is this railing to prevent the cat from running out when the door is opened?"

“Yes.” Yan Chengcheng took the food and medicine from Cao Jie. “In another family in our neighborhood with many cats, one of their cats ran out when they opened the door a while ago.”

The owner searched for a week and finally found the cat, but with the added bonus of a litter of illegitimate puppies.

"Pfft—" Jiang Xiaoli almost spat out her water.

She pointed to the cats in the house and asked, "Are all of your cats spayed or neutered?"

Yan Chengcheng nodded as she ate her porridge, "Yes, all the babies in my family are little grandfathers."

Jiang Xiaoli looked at the blue cat crouching at her feet and tried to reach out and touch it. Surprisingly, it didn't dodge and let her touch it very docilely.

She exclaimed in surprise, "Chengcheng, your cat is so well-behaved! It doesn't shy away from being petted."

Yan Chengcheng glanced at it and laughed, "You're really lucky. Cai Cai has the gentlest personality of all my cats. You'll know once you try the others."

Upon hearing this, the two women got up and tried it. Every time they got within 2 meters of a cat, it would jump away.

Jiang Xiaoli asked curiously, "If you want to play with them, can you touch them?"

Yan Chengcheng shrugged and said, "It depends on their mood. Also, luring them with snacks is surprisingly effective!"

She smiled and said, "That's the biggest difference between cats and dogs. Look how clingy Xin Xin's cat is."

Mao Mao is a Samoyed. Hu Jingxin bought it when she brought her mother to Kyoto, worried that she would be bored by herself.

At first, Mrs. Hu was very resistant to having a dog at home, but within two days, she was completely immersed in the joy of the furry creature.

Yan Chengcheng nodded, "Mao Mao is indeed a clingy person."

She took some snacks from the snack cabinet next to her and gave some to Jiang Xiaoli and Cao Jie.

"Try luring them with snacks, and they'll gather around in no time."

Just as she said, all the cats hiding in various corners of the house came over one by one.

Jiang Xiaoli took the opportunity to stick to them.

After playing for a while, she turned to her and asked, "Chengcheng, when are you planning to go home for the Chinese New Year?"

Yan Chengcheng looked utterly dejected. "I'll go back before the New Year. My parents are obsessed with setting me up on blind dates. I get goosebumps just looking at their phone now."

"Hahaha."

Jiang Xiaoli looked at her sympathetically, "Your aunt and uncle probably think that now that you've graduated and have a stable job, it's time for you to start thinking about your personal life."

“That’s what they said,” Yan Chengcheng complained, snuggling up to her. “The main problem is that I don’t like any of the people they introduce, so they think I’m too picky.”

"My parents are really fickle. Every time I send them money or buy them things, they say that doing business is really good and that they make a lot of money."

When the topic of marriage comes up, they change their tune completely, constantly saying that being a civil servant is better, that civil servant jobs are stable and that how much they earn doesn't matter.

Jiang Xiaoli chuckled and said, "Go home and have a good talk with your parents. They didn't agree when we first increased our investment, but they listened to you in the end."

Getting married and starting a family is a big deal. Your family should sit down together during the New Year and have a good talk. Make sure you express your thoughts clearly, and they should understand.

Yan Chengcheng nodded. "I hope so."

As the year draws to a close, Jiang Xiaoli has endless meetings, banquets, and annual parties to attend.

But the most important event was my daughter Xiaoxiao's 100-day celebration.

They didn't hold a big celebration; they simply ordered a banquet and set up a few tables at home, inviting close relatives and friends.

Grandpa Jiang and Grandma Jiang smiled as they put longevity locks on their great-granddaughter, while Li Guizhi put a lucky bracelet on her granddaughter.

Zhong Yuan specially ordered three jars of Shaoxing wine from Zhejiang Province. "Brother Zong, the wine seller told me that this wine is the ancient Daughter's Red. You must keep it safe for Xiaoxiao."
