Chapter 1347: Does the Mother's Family Care?

Grandpa Chu and his wife made up their minds and stopped making noise. They stayed quietly in the house to recuperate.

In the evening, Chu's father came to bring food to the two of them. Grandpa Chu took the opportunity to ask for a cigarette of an old brand, and Mrs. Chu asked to go downstairs with the old man for a walk.

Father Chu was still a little hesitant. He always felt that there was something wrong with his parents stopping making trouble so quickly, but he couldn't tell what the problem was, so he had to ask Grandpa Chu to buy cigarettes.

The two old men just left the house and never came back.

It was not difficult to find Su Nian's home. Grandpa Chu and Old Lady Chu originally lived in the room of Chu Beichen and his wife. They found Su Nian's notebook, on which was written the address of Grandpa Han's house.

This was what Su Nian wrote down and used as a mailing address. Unexpectedly, this time it would lead the way for Grandpa Chu and Old Lady Chu.

The two old men were only about seventy years old and still some years away from being senile. They got a taxi smoothly as soon as they went out and then gave out Grandpa Han's address.

The driver took a full hour to take them to the Han family. "The fare was eighty-nine yuan in total."

Grandpa Chu scratched his ears, incredulous. "Are you trying to extort money from us outsiders? The last time we took a bus, the distance was much farther than yours, and they only charged us one dollar!"

The driver was at a loss for words. "Last time you took the bus, right? This is a taxi. I'm only taking you two passengers, so of course the fare is expensive!"

Grandpa Chu and Grandma Chu didn't believe what the driver said and started arguing with him in the car.

The driver was furious, but the tough old man and woman in front of him were quite old, so he didn't dare to be too harsh on them, for fear of giving them a heart attack!

The noise was so loud that it alerted the people on duty in Grandpa Han's yard, and someone came out to ask what was going on.

The driver and the two old men were arguing with each other for a while. When Grandpa Han's staff heard that Grandpa Chu was here to look for a relative, they looked at him and asked, "What's your relative's name?"

Grandpa Chu took out Su Nian's notebook and pointed at Grandpa Han's name on it, "That's him!"

The staff member took a look and found that the name and address were written correctly. "Okay, wait a moment, I'll go in and report!"

Grandpa Chu and Mrs. Chu didn't know what was going on. They sat there angrily and refused to pay or get off the bus.

After a while, several staff members came out of the yard, settled the taxi bill, and led the two elderly people into the yard.

Grandpa Han was still awake at this moment, but he had no habit of receiving guests in person, so as usual, Han Qing came forward to handle these matters.

Han Qing knew that someone had recently visited the Chu family's hometown. He had also told Grandpa Han that he would arrange a meal when he had time and invite the two families to sit together. However, he did not expect that the Han family's relatives would come so soon and at such a late hour. What was going on?

Han Qing took Tang Xin with him and waited in the reception room.

The two old men entered the house and saw Han Qing and Tang Xin. They were a little confused and asked, "Are you Su Nian's family?"

They felt that Han Qing did not look his age, he was too young.

In just a short while, Han Qing had already seen the visitor clearly. He remained calm and said, "You two are right. I am Su Nian's biological brother!"

Old Madam Chu clapped her hands and said, "Then we have finally found the right person. If your family didn't intervene, who knows what Su Nian would have done!"
