Chu Beichen and Su Nian returned to the military compound. He parked the car in the yard and then took Su Nian home. Eating hot pot took a while, and it was almost nine o'clock. Chu Beichen smiled and asked Su Nian, "Why don't you take a shower first? After that, you can watch TV comfortably."
Hotpot is not only spicy, but the restaurant is also smoky and hot. Su Nian also felt a little uncomfortable with the sweat on his body, so he nodded in agreement.
Chu Beichen went to get some hot water. When it was ready, he asked Su Nian to go upstairs while he stayed downstairs to watch TV.

Chu Beichen originally thought that Su Nian was still taking a shower in the bathroom, and he just needed to urge her through the door. Unexpectedly, as soon as he entered the room, he saw Su Nian wearing only a bath towel and wiping her hair with her head down.
The bath towel was white and only covered the chest. The exposed shoulders were crystal white and smooth, shining with a faint luster under the light, like a perfect piece of jade.
There was water in Su Nian's ears, so she hurried out to wipe it. She didn't expect Chu Beichen to come in suddenly. Their eyes met, and before she could say or do anything, Chu Beichen had already left the house with a flushed face.
Su Nian calmed down and knew that Chu Beichen was not that kind of pervert. She quickly put on a piece of clothing to cover her shoulders and asked through the door, "What happened, Beichen?"
Chu Beichen was wiping his sweat outside the door, feeling so embarrassed. "Your classmate sent you a message, asking you to call back as soon as possible. Here, this is the phone number!" He reached out and handed over the pager.
Su Nian was surprised. She had just given Tian Qiuyu her pager number during the day. Could something have happened at night? She hurriedly took the pager and then remembered that there was no phone in the house. If she wanted to call back, she could only go to the living room downstairs.
Chu Beichen at the door spoke again, "Su Nian, come to my room and make a phone call. I have an extension in my room!"
Su Nian looked at herself, her calves exposed, which looked like she was wearing a skirt in summer, then she pushed the door open and went out.
Chu Beichen was more gentlemanly than she had imagined. He had turned his back and was facing the stairs.
Su Nian glanced at Chu Beichen's broad back and hurried to his room. The phone was on the desk, and Su Nian hurriedly dialed it. The phone rang once before it was picked up. Tian Qiuyu's voice came from the other end: "Su Nian, come back as soon as possible. The school is checking the rooms!"
Su Nian's heart sank: "Why do you want to check the shop when everything is fine?"
Tian Qiuyu's voice sounded anxious: "I'll tell you the details when we meet. Come back soon. I can't fight anymore. I have to go and buy you some time!"
Su Nian said hurriedly: "Then go quickly!"
She was worried and said to Chu Beichen as she walked through the corridor, "Beichen, I have to go back to school!"
"Checking the shop?" Chu Beichen was leading the troops in the army and immediately guessed the reason why Su Nian went back.
Su Nian had already opened the door of her room: "Yeah, let me put on my clothes first!"
Hearing the sound of the door closing, Chu Beichen breathed a sigh of relief, "Su Nian, don't worry, I'll drive you home!"
