Chapter 1934 Goodwill

Seeing Chu Ying blushing and hesitating, Victor's heart suddenly started beating. He felt that this thin boy was as shy as a little girl.

"Okay, if you don't want to talk, then don't talk. Everyone has some troubles. Now that you are going out, don't think about those things. Just follow us. At least along the way, you can ask me if you don't understand anything!" Victor usually doesn't talk much, and saying so much today is an exception.

At this time, it was already dark outside the train. The atmosphere inside the carriage became more lively due to the disturbance caused by the drunk man and the three women. More people were chatting and everyone took out food to eat.

Chu Ying did not bring out the bag she had prepared. There was only a sapphire ring in her backpack. While waiting for the bus, she bought some supplies, but not much. Seeing everyone eating, Chu Ying felt hungry too, but when she opened her backpack, there was only a box of strawberries inside.

According to Chu Ying's original plan, she was going to eat in the dining car, but seeing the chaos on the car, she didn't dare to go to the dining car alone.

Victor and the other two brought large bags of food. After seeing what they brought, Chu Ying understood why her thin body could be blown away by the wind, while these three men were so strong and muscular.

After the oil paper package was opened, inside were slices of braised beef, a whole roast chicken, a piece of solid black bread, and a large can of cheese.

The aroma of meat suddenly spread in the carriage. Chu Ying felt her stomach acid secretion accelerate instantly. She swallowed her saliva and quickly put a strawberry in her mouth.

Victor glanced at Chu Ying. He had already noticed that the young man had almost no luggage. He guessed that he had had a quarrel with his family and ran out in a hurry.

Victor cut two slices of bread, spread thick cheese on them, twisted off a chicken leg, and handed all these things to Chu Ying on a piece of wax paper.

Chu Ying was extremely surprised and quickly waved her hands to say no, but Victor didn't give in. Seeing that Chu Ying refused to take the food, he stood up and put the food directly on the small table in front of him. Then he sat back on the bed and started chatting and eating with his two companions.

Chu Ying was hungry. People with thin bodies tend to get hungry faster because they don't have any extra fat to consume.

Chu Ying only had breakfast that day and didn't eat anything at noon. The black bread in front of her gave off a mellow aroma, which tickled Chu Ying's heart like a little hand.

She looked at Victor again, but the latter refused to look at her again, as if he had not given her anything at all, and did not even turn his head.

Chu Ying swallowed her saliva and finally picked up the black bread and started eating it in small bites. She had heard from the bodyguard at home that food from outside should not be eaten easily, otherwise after being drugged, she would be at the mercy of others.

But this Victor is different. Chu Ying believes that she will not give herself anesthesia.

The bread and chicken legs were both very fragrant. These things were different from what Chu Ying ate. It was obvious that they had only undergone the most ordinary processing and were full of the original flavor of the food.

After finishing her meal, Chu Ying looked at Victor with gratitude. He was the first person who showed kindness to her since they were out.

It was getting darker by this time, and a biting chill seeped in through the gaps in the car windows.

Chu Ying heard Victor and the others say, "We're going to cross Mount Karl. I heard that Mount Karl was already covered with snow in June this year. I guess it's going to be really cold tonight!"

Hearing this, Chu Ying suddenly panicked because she didn't have any thick clothes.
