Chapter 1950: A New Look

It was the first time for Victor to answer the phone for someone, and he considerately asked who the other party was.

The man told him kindly that he was Chu's uncle.

Uncle Chu's grammar was strange. He used Chu's name instead of his own wherever his name was needed. Victor thought that he had not learned the foreign language well.

Han Qing reacted very quickly. After hearing what Victor said, he realized that Chu Ying was with the other party. Knowing Chu Ying's previous actions, Han Qing guessed that this girl might be disguised as a man, so he did not use the words "male he" or "female she" in order to avoid exposing Chu Ying's identity.

This small detail did not attract Whoker's attention. He quickly hung up the phone, looked at Chu Ying who was still sleeping soundly, shook his head, and got into his sleeping bag to rest.

Chu Ying went to bed early and got up early the next morning. When she opened her eyes, she found that the room was empty, the sleeping bag was neatly folded, but Victor was gone.

Chu Ying understood that Victor had gone out for exercise. People in their line of work must have very strict physical requirements, so Victor didn't drink too much or stay up late.

Chu Ying did not delay and immediately got up, made her bed, took a shower and cleaned herself up.

When she came out of the washing, she felt a little regretful because she didn't have much luggage and she had to put on her old dirty clothes.

At this moment, there was an extra packaging bag on the bed with a small note on it. Chu Ying looked at the note and laughed. It turned out that the bag contained clothes that Victor bought for her.

The clothes were a plaid shirt, jeans and a down vest, the simplest and most comfortable outfit. After Chu Ying changed into them, Victor pushed the door open again. When he saw Chu Ying, his eyes lit up.

"Look, beautiful people look good in anything!"

Both of Chu Ying's parents have excellent genes, so she is naturally beautiful. However, because Chu Ying is an Oriental, her figure is not as exaggerated as that of Western girls, so Victor has not been able to see through her disguise until now.

Victor held a paper bag in his arms, which contained fresh toast. They drank coffee and ate toast for breakfast. The doors and windows on the balcony were open, and the morning breeze that came in was particularly comfortable.

Nature is generous. It provides the same sunshine and rain to both the slums and the rich areas.

After breakfast, as planned, Victor and his companions went to scout the area near the warehouse, while Chu Ying went to look for opportunities to see if anyone was willing to hire her.

Seeing a recruitment notice pasted crookedly on the door of the warehouse, several people were delighted. However, when they walked closer and took a look, three of the four people were immediately disappointed.

There was a recruitment, but it was for a senior clerk. According to Victor and the others, there was no way Chu Ying would pass the interview.

Chu Ying stretched out her hand and snapped her fingers, "No matter what, it won't be wrong to go over and give it a try!"

The result of the attempt was that Chu Ying successfully passed the interview. The warehouse hoped that she could come to work tomorrow, and the salary offered was considered high in Geneva.

Such a result was difficult for Victor and the others to understand. After all, the three of them had limited education. If they did not stick to their original profession and directly entered the market to compete for work, they would be completely uncompetitive. So when they saw Chu Ying easily interview for a high-paying job, the three of them immediately looked at her with admiration.

There were so many people around that the three people didn't dare to stay at the dock for too long. They left quickly after finishing their business.
