Chapter 1963 Exploring the Way

That night, everyone had a hard time falling asleep due to the new environment. It was not until two or three in the morning that everyone finally gave in to the sleepiness and fell asleep.

Just after everyone fell asleep, several leopard-like beasts ran out of the woods and ran silently towards the place where people were resting. The crew members were sleeping on the periphery. Two of them felt the danger approaching and opened their eyes to call for help, but were bitten on the throat.

The others were completely unaware of this situation and were still peacefully immersed in their dreams.

The day was about to dawn, and the white light gradually appeared in the east. Some people had already woken up, and it felt like they were camping in the wild. They could hear the birds singing and the flowers blooming all around them, and it was very comfortable.

The captain had undergone rigorous military training. He woke up quickly and opened his eyes to look at the people around him out of habit. Suddenly, his pupils shrank and he found that two of his crew members were missing, two stewardesses.

The captain opened his sleeping bag, sat up, and looked around carefully. Normally, he would get up at this time and go far away to solve personal problems, but in the dim morning light, he saw bloodstains on the white sand and traces of heavy objects being dragged.

"No!" the captain immediately stood up and shouted a warning, "There's a wild beast in this place that has taken one of our people away!"

This news was so shocking that many people who had already woken up and were enjoying the morning light were so frightened that they sat up in shock.

Some people who were still asleep were also awakened by the shout.

Su Nian and Chu Beichen were also woken up. When Chu Beichen heard that there was a wild beast, he immediately stood up and called everyone over to check.

The result of the headcount was that two stewardesses were missing. There was blood at the scene and the two people's sleeping bags were still there, but they were torn into pieces.

There were several huge claw marks on the white sand.

"This looks like a leopard?" Several men who knew a little about animals squatted on the ground and looked at it.

This place is obviously a tropical rainforest. Everyone can't understand how such a large cat could appear. However, since the wild beast has appeared, we can no longer stay in the open air.

There was no time to mourn the deceased, Chu Beichen gathered everyone on the scene and divided them into two groups.

One group, led by Chu Beichen, headed towards the north of the island, while the other group, led by the captain, headed towards the south of the island. The two teams agreed to move forward as long as there was no danger and return to the beach by noon to summarize the situation.

There were hillsides on the north side of the island and forests on the south side. The two teams distributed their weapons and returned to the plane. They took some fresh water and food with them and then covered the cabin door. Since there were leopards on the island, there was no guarantee that there were primates as well. It would be disastrous if all the food was looted by them.

Chu Beichen's team consists of him, Su Nian, two assistants and a female secretary.

The team led by the captain mainly included the co-pilot, the mechanic, and a surviving stewardess.

These nine members are all the survivors on the plane.

Chu Beichen and his men quickly arrived at the foot of the hillside. When they got near the hillside, they found that this was not a hillside at all, but a huge bluestone.

Such a large stone, which is completely natural, would definitely be a great tourist attraction if it were placed inland, but when placed on this rarely traveled road, it just makes people feel creepy.

"This rock is really big. Could it be connected to the continental shelf?" Su Nian guessed.
