Chapter 459: Heirloom

On Saturday, we went out very early. Today's goal was to visit the characteristic streets of Singapore. When we arrived at the first stop, Little India, it felt like we were in India. The streets were full of shops selling Indian spices and food, and women in bright saris were walking around.

They had lunch in Chinatown, a traditional Chinese community. Here, Su Nian finally ate the curry fish head he had always wanted to eat, and drank bak kut teh. Everyone showed their gluttonous qualities. After eating, they smelled the aroma of waffles and ordered another one each.

In the afternoon, Su Nian went to the shopping mall for a shopping spree. She finally bought all the things she brought with her. She also bought a set of high-end skin care products and Singapore's specialty dried meat for Chu's mother. This made her trip to Singapore worthwhile.

In the evening, we went to the Merlion Park to see the famous statue. The park is not big, and sitting in the park and looking at the scenery on the opposite bank is a unique experience.

Everyone was exhausted at this time, and they were carrying large and small bags of things. They wanted to go to Clarke Quay to see the night view, but finally gave up. They packed Hainanese chicken rice and stuffed tofu for dinner and took them back to the hotel.

Su Nian returned to the room, put down her things, took off her shoes, then picked up her dinner and went to the balcony to enjoy it.

As soon as she opened the balcony door, Su Nian saw a bunch of gorgeous orchids with fresh water droplets on them. Su Nian put down the lunch box in her hand, picked up the bouquet and looked at it carefully. There was a small card with words written on it, "I'm leaving, but I will come to see you!"

There was no signature. Su Nian looked at the closed balcony door next door and realized that the bouquet should have been sent by Martin.

In fact, Su Nian told Martin that she already had a boyfriend. She wondered if her English was not good enough and Martin didn't understand at all?

Everyone slept soundly that night, but still had to get up early the next day to catch the flight back home.

Su Nian only felt relieved when he got on the plane in a daze.

The stewardess spotted her quickly and greeted her with surprise, "Ms. Su, I didn't expect you to be on this flight!"

Su Nian was stunned for a moment before she remembered that this flight was the same one they had taken to Lion City before. "Hello, I didn't expect it to be such a coincidence!"

Su Nian was very puzzled. Logically speaking, there were many passengers on the plane, so there was no reason for the flight attendant to remember every one of them?

The stewardess's next words resolved Su Nian's confusion. "This is what I mean. Our crew is looking for you. We encountered a patient on the plane last time, and now we have a little dispute with that patient. We hope you can stand up and testify for us!"

Su Nian also remembered that there was indeed a man named Liao Xueping who had a heart attack on the flight, but his companions refused treatment. In the end, the captain ordered the suitcase to be opened, and only then were the emergency medicines found.

"Yes, I remember this!" Su Nian nodded.

"Now Liao Xueping wants to sue our crew, saying that the heirloom in his suitcase is missing!" The flight attendant was helpless.

Su Nian was stunned for a moment: "What heirloom did he bring on the plane?"

"That's right, but the passenger insisted that we opened the suitcase without his permission, which led to the theft of his belongings. Now he wants compensation!" The stewardess took out a stack of documents.

"We've used the ticket information to track down every passenger who was present at the time. Please testify for us!" the stewardess rummaged through the tickets. "This one's for you!"

Su Nian took the document handed to her by the stewardess and examined it carefully. Ding Aifang, who was sitting next to Su Nian, asked for a copy as well. "I was there at the time, and I'm willing to testify for you!"
