Chapter 53: Uncle Visits

Chu Beichen was worried about letting Su Nian go to see a stranger alone, so he accompanied her to Chen's house.

The Chen family's house was a split-level building with its own staircase. As soon as the door opened, there was a spacious living room. Mrs. Chen smiled and invited the two of them in. "Dr. Su, you've worked so hard. Please sit down and have some tea and some fruit!"

Su Nian collected a thousand yuan in medical fees from the Chen family, but before she even did any work, she quickly waved her hand and said, "No need, I'll just do moxibustion on grandma!"

Old Chen was not at home, reportedly because he had business engagements. Chen's wife invited Su Nian several more times, but when she saw that she insisted on receiving treatment first, she led her into Grandma Chen's room.

Grandma Chen had obviously done moxibustion before and was very familiar with the process. She was already lying on the small bed, getting ready. "Doctor Su, I'll leave my old bones to you!"

While checking the moxa sticks handed to her by Mrs. Chen, Su Nian comforted Grandma Chen: "Don't worry, as long as the blood stasis can be dispersed, your leg will slowly recover!"

The moxa sticks were of the best quality. After Su Nian took a look at them, he asked Chen's wife to bring an alarm clock to set the time, and then he began to treat Grandma Chen.

Moxibustion and acupuncture work on similar principles. Moxibustion is relatively safe, but it doesn't work as quickly. When Su Nian began treating the first acupuncture point, the blood clot in his brain reappeared.

She had discovered that as long as she was closer to the patient, she could clearly sense the other person's condition. Moreover, when she took Grandma Chu's pulse this time, many treatment plans appeared in her mind. First, acupuncture and blood-dissolving drugs were displayed, and then moxibustion and supporting drugs were displayed.

It was as if they knew she couldn't handle acupuncture, so they tailored a treatment plan specifically for her!

Su Nian had no time to be surprised. She could feel that with the continued stimulation of moxibustion, the blood clot seemed to be loosening.

Fifteen minutes passed quickly. Su Nian finally sensed the blood clot and was surprised to find that many tiny fragments appeared around the blood clot and were being carried away by the blood circulation.

The debris is breaking down from the blood clot, which means the treatment is working!

Su Nian's confidence increased greatly. He extinguished the moxa stick and told Chen's wife some precautions before saying goodbye.

After she left, Chen's wife said to her mother happily, "Mom, I think this young doctor Su is very methodical. Although she is young, she is very accurate in finding acupuncture points!"

And after finding it, her hands didn't shake and she controlled the distance very well. If you ignore Su Nian's age, just looking at the way she moved, it's clear that she must have had at least 20 to 30 years of experience.

How could they know that as soon as Su Nian picked up the moxa stick and sat next to Chen's mother, the treatment process would appear in his mind. Su Nian operated according to this process, and in the eyes of outsiders, it was smooth and fluent!

Chen's mother also agreed: "I don't know if it's my imagination, but after she treated me, I feel that my headache is not so bad!"

Chen's wife nodded quickly: "Mom, this is your medical fate. It seems that recovery is not far away!"

Both the mother-in-law and the daughter-in-law laughed. They had been suffering from this disease for several years, and now there was finally hope of a cure. How could they not be happy?

Su Nian followed Chu Beichen home. Qiao Chunhua opened the door for them. She looked a little worried and whispered, "Grandma's son came over and mentioned you!"

Uncle Chu is here? Su Nian and Chu Beichen looked at each other and remembered what happened in the bank that day.

They were right. Uncle Chu came over this time precisely to talk about Chu Beichen's refusal to listen and to have a good talk with Grandma Chu! How could such a young person take his uncle's kindness for granted and throw money at that fraudulent certificate!
