Chapter 62: Bullying

On this day at work, Su Nian had just walked into the office and had not had time to turn on the water when a middle-aged man in police uniform came in with a young female police officer.

"Xiao Su, this is your new colleague, Forensic Doctor Song," he turned to the policewoman and pointed at Su Nian, "Forensic Doctor Song, this is Xiao Su who helps out at the Forensic Department!"

Su Nian understood that this female police officer should be a regular police officer assigned here. It seemed that her temporary work life would end early.

The middle-aged police officer was the director of the personnel department. "Xiao Su, please hand over your work to Forensic Doctor Song for the next few days!"

Su Nian agreed and nodded friendly towards Officer Song, "Hello!"

Officer Song had heard that there was a temporary worker helping out in the Forensic Department, but he didn't care. He nodded perfunctorily and ignored Su Nian.

The other party had no intention of making friends, so Su Nian didn't force him. He simply boiled some water and poured it into his own cup. Then he took out the injury assessment, registration forms and other documents that Officer Liu had instructed him to take, and placed them all in front of Officer Song.

Officer Song frowned, "What are these?"

"Didn't the HR director just give instructions? Let me hand over the work I'm doing to you!" Su Nian worked very quickly, sorting through the piles of paperwork one by one. "That's all. If you have any questions, ask me!"

After finishing all this, Su Nian sat back in his seat and started reading again.

Forensic Doctor Song looked at his seat, a single table and chair next to the door. As soon as the door opened, a gust of cold wind would rush in.

The place where Su Nian was sitting was two desks put together, next to the window, and could get sunlight in the morning, which was obviously better than her position.

Opposite Su Nian, there was a teacup, which should be Officer Liu's seat. Forensic Doctor Song didn't dare to have any ideas about this old senior.

She thought about it, picked up the document and walked across to Su Nian, "Let's switch seats!"

Su Nian was surprised, "Why?"

"It's too cold and noisy at the door. I don't want to sit there!" Forensic Doctor Song spoke bluntly and condescendingly to Su Nian.

"But there has to be a first come first served order!" Su Nian knew that she would not be able to work in the police station for many days, and she did not want to indulge Forensic Doctor Song.

"First come, first served?" Forensic Doctor Song scoffed. "A temporary worker like you're telling me first come, first served?"

Su Nian was furious. She had met unreasonable people before, but she had never met someone this unreasonable! She crossed her arms and her eyes turned cold. "What's wrong with being a temporary worker? I've been here for a day, and I have a place here!"

Forensic Doctor Song graduated from a reputable Public Security University and originally wanted to stay in Beijing. Unfortunately, someone took her place before she was assigned a job, so she had to move to Shanghai and settle down in a small forensic department of a police station. She felt that she had been wronged, but she didn't expect that even a temporary worker would not give her face.

Things like taking advantage of one's power to bully others require the cooperation of the disadvantaged group. Unfortunately, Su Nian doesn't want to cooperate. Although Liangyuan is good, it is not a place for her to stay for long. After all, she still has to go back to Quzhou to continue her studies. There is no need for her to compromise at all.

For Su Nian, doing this kind of temporary job was just to make money, but now she not only has more than a thousand yuan in cash, but also dozens of stock subscription certificates. Her net worth is incomparable to when she first came to work.

So when faced with the coercion of Forensic Doctor Song, Su Nian did not buy it.

Seeing that Su Nian refused to give up her seat, Forensic Doctor Song had no other choice. She believed that as long as she went to the director, she would be able to solve the problem. But was it worth it? She thought for a moment, then returned to the single seat with the documents in her arms and silently read the registration.
