Su Nian's heart grew colder and colder. It was entirely her idea to come and see Su's mother tonight. She was kind by nature. Even though she knew that Su's mother had no blood relationship with her, she still wanted to give Su's mother another chance.

Su Nian was cold and distant, yet more generous than before. Mother Su narrowed her eyes, snorted, took the menu and started ordering. "You shameless little girl, you left us to enjoy yourself. Poor Jianchun, you lost everything because of you, and now you're still suffering in prison!"
Su's mother cursed and ordered several meat dishes in one go, including steamed meatballs, scallion buns, and the immortal chicken, with the idea of not letting Su Nian take advantage.
Su Nian handed the menu to the waiter, poured herself a cup of tea and drank it slowly.
Mother Su was already starving, and she didn't care to scold Su Nian anymore. She tapped the bowl with her chopsticks and said, "Hey, man, why are you so slow?"
In fact, the steamed dishes are all ready. Soon, a crispy braised chicken, a plate of steamed meatballs, a plate of fried shrimps, and a plate of scallion buns were placed on the table!
Mother Su ate voraciously. After half the chicken was gone, she breathed a sigh of satisfaction and wiped her mouth with her hand. "Su Nian, I'm staying in your dormitory tonight!"
Su Nian didn't eat. She held her face with one hand and shook her head: "There's no room in our dormitory!"
Mother Su glared. She was full and refreshed. She pointed at Su Nian and said, "Don't make excuses for me, or I'll sleep in your bed!"
Su Nian asked her back: "Then where do I sleep?"
Mother Su burped and tore off another chicken leg. "Go wherever you want!"
Su Nian smiled noncommittally and didn't say anything this time.
Mother Su gnawed on a chicken leg and looked Su Nian up and down. "By the way, you have to buy me a set of clothes, just like the ones you're wearing!"
Su Nian chuckled: "Does this style suit you?"
Mother Su threw down the chicken leg in her hand and reached out to grab Su Nian, "If you don't buy me a new one, take off the one you're wearing and give it to me. And the watch on your hand, you little girl, wearing such an expensive thing, you really know how to enjoy it!"
