Sha Fengjiao desperately pounced on Chu Beichen, "Let my brother go, what right do you have to hit him?"
Chu Beichen, however, does not hit women. Facing the aggressive Sha Fengjiao, he could only dodge left and right. Even so, his face was still scratched by Sha Fengjiao's long nails.
When the guards following Han Qing saw this, they quickly came over to try to take sides. They all pulled Sha Fengjiao away. Chu Beichen and Han Qing beat Sha Qilin a few more times before letting him go.
In just a short while, Sha Qilin, who was considered handsome just now, became unrecognizable, with bruises all over his face and big footprints all over his body.
Even so, Chu Beichen still refused to let him go. He said in a deep voice: "Hurry up and apologize to Su Nian!"
Sha Qilin twisted his neck and instinctively wanted to refute, but when he saw Chu Beichen's clenched fists, he retracted the words on the tip of his tongue. He turned to Su Nian and said with difficulty, "I'm sorry!"
Su Nian also breathed a sigh of relief. Chu Beichen and Han Qing were both hot-blooded, and she was afraid that they would act impulsively and hit too hard, potentially hurting Sha Qilin. Now that she saw that Sha Qilin was fine, she snorted coldly and ignored him.
Even though Sha Qilin had apologized, Sha Fengjiao felt deeply wronged. She rushed to Su Nian and yelled at her, "What's wrong with you, woman? My brother just likes you. What's wrong with him confessing his feelings to you?"
"You actually hired someone to beat him up! You're so vicious!"
Su Nian blinked: "I'm already married, and it's a military marriage. Don't you brothers and sisters know about this or are you pretending to be stupid?"
Sha Fengjiao puffed out her chest and refused to give in. "So what? Is there a law that says you can't express your love to a married person? I think you're just being pretentious!"
Su Nian sneered, "Sha Qilin confessed his love to me even though he knew I was married. This is immoral, not to mention that I'm a military-married man. This means Sha Qilin has no morals or laws, and just follows his own whim. Shouldn't such a person be beaten?"
These questions were so powerful that Sha Fengjiao was speechless for a moment and could not say anything in rebuttal.
Sha Qilin coughed as he walked towards the door. When Sha Fengjiao saw him, she quickly chased after him and helped Sha Qilin out of the restaurant.
Han Qing said with a sullen face, "Everyone, go away. We have to go out tomorrow morning!"
This was Han Qing's family affair, and no one dared to watch him make a fuss. The doctor Huang Feng had been having a good chat with Sha Fengjiao, and now he wanted to stand up for Sha Fengjiao, but was desperately pulled away by the Feng Shui master beside him.
Han Qing then looked at Su Nian worriedly: "What did Sha Qilin do to you?"
Su Nian shook his head slightly: "He just said a few unreasonable words, but he didn't do anything bad!"
"He's quite clever!" Han Qing said with an unsatisfied look, "I knew that grandma would bring trouble here. It's only the first day and this guy can't control himself. In the days to come, there's no telling what tricks he'll play! Xiaoxiao, you have to be careful. If he dares to do something naughty again, tell me! I'll kill him!"
In fact, Su Nian did not suffer much injustice today. She was more frightened by the reactions of Chu Beichen and Han Qing. These two people were much more intense than she had imagined!
"Brother, Beichen, thank you!" Su Nian breathed a sigh of relief.
Chu Beichen reached out to tidy Su Nian's hair, his voice very gentle, "Silly boy, what are you thanking me for?"
