"Oh no," Miss Yang ran straight to Bai Fangyu, "Something happened to Ouyang Jing. Are you her mother? Come with me to check it out!"
Bai Fangyu was so worried that she was confused. When she heard that Ouyang Jing was in trouble, she immediately stood up and asked, "What happened to her?"
"I can't explain it right now. You'll know when you go over and take a look!" Miss Yang turned and walked away, waving her hand to Bai Fangyu as she walked. "Come on, don't delay us!"
Bai Fangyu was afraid that something might happen to her daughter, so she hurried to catch up. After all, her job on this train was to convince Su Nian. If she missed the train, the worst that could happen would be to postpone persuading Su Nian!
Seeing Bai Fangyu leave like a gust of wind, Su Nian finally breathed a sigh of relief, "Finally, she's gone!"
Chu Beichen frowned: "Su Nian, you said that this Miss Yang was problematic and rummaged through your things in the middle of the night!"
"Yes," Su Nian nodded in agreement, "It's a three-handed beast. I even warned Ouyang Jing about it, but unfortunately she didn't believe me!"
"I don't think today's matter is that simple," Chu Beichen shook his head and looked away, "but the Bai family's mother and daughter are not good to you. Now it's good that they don't come to entangle you. It's not worth worrying about them!"
The two men were happy and relaxed. Seeing that they still had three or four hours to go before the transfer station, they simply found two more passengers and played poker together.
This is how they spent their time on the long journey. Everyone started playing poker in a lively manner, and no one noticed that Bai Fangyu had not gotten back on since she got off the bus with Miss Yang.
Ouyang Jing followed Miss Yang and ran quickly towards the uncle's house that Miss Yang mentioned, "It's the yard over there, do you see it? It's very big." Miss Yang pointed to the uncle's house to Ouyang Jing while running.
"I see, we're almost there!" Thinking that Miss Yang was doing everything for him, the usually selfish Ouyang Jing became more efficient and ran even though he was out of breath without complaining.
They were both young girls and quickly ran to the mansion. Miss Yang called for the gate to be opened, and a dark, fat and greasy man came to open the door. His small eyes looked at Ouyang Jing unscrupulously, which made her very uncomfortable.
Miss Yang took Ouyang Jing and walked towards the yard. "This is my eldest cousin. Don't look at him as ugly, he actually has a good heart!"
Ouyang Jing just came to pick up something. She didn't care whether other people were kind or bad-intentioned. She just agreed vaguely and followed them in.
The yard was very large, and there were a few people standing inside. These people were dressed like mountain people, wearing leather hats and leather knee pads, and had tough expressions and were full of brute force.
Miss Yang simply nodded, not stopping to greet her. She led Ouyang Jing to an empty room and sat her down. She then picked up the tin kettle leaning against the stove and poured her a glass of water. "Drink it! It's made with autumn jujube blossom honey."
"You sit down and rest for a while, I'll find something for you," Miss Yang handed the cup to Ouyang Jing, smiled at her, lifted the curtain and walked out.
There was only a kang and an iron stove in this house. It was the poorest place Ouyang Jing had ever seen. However, when he thought of the scale of Bangzigou Station, Ouyang Jing felt that it was good to have such a house in such a small place!
It was boring to just sit there. Hot steam and a sweet smell came out of the cup. It seemed that it was really honey water, and very good honey. Ouyang Jing picked up the cup and started drinking.
She quickly finished the water in the cup and was wondering why Miss Yang hadn't come back yet when the door was opened.
