Chapter 454: Difficulty

There was only an hour for lunch, so in order to save time, Su Nian got a bowl of laksa, which is a very popular dish in Singapore. It is a bit similar to the clay pot in China, and is also made with base soup, side dishes and rice noodles.

When it came time to find a seat, Su Nian was in trouble. Ding Aifang had gone to chat with the professor and the table was full. It was peak dining time and it was really hard to find a seat.

"Here, Miss Su," someone greeted Su Nian. Upon closer inspection, it was her neighbor Martin. He was occupying a two-person seat by himself, with no one opposite him.

Su Nian had no other thoughts in his mind and sat down calmly.

Martin was also eating laksa. He looked at his plate, then at Su Nian's, grinned, and was about to speak when Su Nian interrupted him, "What a coincidence!"

Martin raised his hands and made an exaggerated gesture, "What a coincidence!" He knew that this oriental girl was a bit serious, and if he talked too much, she might run away with the plate, so after saying this, he concentrated on dealing with the food in his bowl.

Frankly, Martin regretted choosing this dish out of curiosity. It wasn't bad, but the laksa he had was made with fish broth, which was sour and spicy. For a German who loved to eat pork elbows and drink beer, this flavor was a challenge.

Secondly, even though Martin was eating the Singapore specialties, he still had to use a knife and fork. These tools were useless in picking up the rice noodles floating in the bowl. He sucked in air clumsily, but couldn't pick up a single rice noodle for a long time. It was really embarrassing!

Martin had eaten half of his food and couldn't get any more, so he simply put down his knife and fork and looked at Su Nian eating across from him with envy.

Su Nian was seen holding two chopsticks in her snow-white little hands, picking up the rice noodles flexibly in the bowl. Once they came into her hands, all the extremely naughty rice noodles were scooped up obediently.

Su Nian met Martin's eyes, then looked at the food in his bowl, barely suppressing her laughter, "Doctor Martin, chicken rice actually tastes pretty good!"

Martin had a step down and immediately stood up, "Really? Since it's the food recommended by Miss Su, I must try it!"

After lunch, everyone didn’t go far. Groups of three or four held coffee and walked to the front of the restaurant to chat and stretch their bodies.

The climate in Lion City is pleasant, with truly blue sea and blue sky. Su Nian also stood under the coconut tree, looking at the surrounding flowers and plants curiously.

At this time, she suddenly saw Ryuichi Hashimoto. Beside him was a short man with gray hair. Hashimoto was very respectful to the man.

"Hey, isn't this the shameless R countryman?" Ding Aifang couldn't help but ask.

"Yeah, I didn't see Hashimoto this morning. I thought he finally had some sense of shame and went back to his country quietly!" Su Nian despised Hashimoto.

"A dog will always eat shit!" Ding Aifang couldn't help but say a vulgar remark.

At this time, other people also saw the Hashimoto duo. Everyone talked about them in their own language and looked at the two people with contempt. In the man's world, accepting defeat is the bottom line of character. Hashimoto clearly lost the game, but he still refused to leave the meeting. This is simply unbelievable.

However, Hashimoto acted as if he didn't notice these gazes. He walked up to Professor Liu with the short man and said arrogantly, "Mr. Liu, this is my teacher, Tian Gangcunzheng."

The short man stepped forward, full of momentum, "I want to challenge your Great Northern Medical Team!"
