Chapter 136 Sweet Time

There is not much time left in the winter vacation. Every morning Chu Beichen leaves home to go to work. Su Nian is like a little wife, buying groceries, cooking and doing housework. The time they spend together is sweet and warm, but it is a pity that it is about to end.

Su Nian flipped through the calendar and pouted. Time really flies like water. She dared not to be carefree or waste it, but it still passed so quickly!

"What are you thinking about?" Chu Beichen handed over a windbreaker, which he bought after returning to Quzhou. It was the spring outfit he bought for Su Nian.

"Once you report, you have to move to the school!" Su Nian felt a little regretful.

Chu Beichen opened the door and said, "Does the university have such restrictions? You can go home too. This time, ask the teacher!"

Su Nian laughed: "This is your home. I'm going to report to the teacher. What should I say? So I won't be back when school starts!"

Chu Beichen's expression was solemn, and his thick black eyebrows were furrowed: "Are you willing to leave me alone at home?"

Such sentimental words came out of Chu Beichen's sharp lips. Su Nian couldn't help but be stunned, "Then what do you say we should do?"

Chu Beichen smiled slightly, revealing a mouthful of snow-white teeth, "You have to come back to see me this weekend!"

So that's how it is. Su Nian breathed a sigh of relief, "Okay, I'll come back and make you something delicious!"

The two walked out together. Today was Su Nian's registration day. After a winter break, the students of Quzhou Medical College were about to start their busy study life again.

Millie was wearing a bright red windbreaker and a colorful silk scarf around her neck. She was leaning against an electric bike and kept looking at Chu Beichen. She shouted from a distance, "Brother Beichen, where are you going?"

Chu Beichen was helpless with Millie. No matter how impatient he showed, Millie was like a sticky candy. "Something's going on!" he answered concisely.

Millie followed, pushing the electric bike, "I'll go with you?"

Su Nian smiled and took Chu Beichen's arm: "No need, Beichen has me to accompany him!" If she didn't fight back, who knows what outrageous things this Millie would do!

Su Nian and Chu Beichen walked away. Millie stomped her feet hard and then drove away in her electric car. School was about to start today, and the first thing she had to do was to ask the principal to make a rule that students were not allowed to live outside. Then, if she saw Su Nian staying at Chu Beichen's house again, she would have a way to make Su Nian expel from school!

There was a green jeep parked at the gate of the yard. It was Chu Beichen's car. He opened the door and blocked the door frame with his hand, "Come on in, little girl!"

Su Nian smiled and got into the car, "Does this count as using the public bus for personal purposes?"

Chu Beichen didn't take it seriously, got in the driver's seat and started the car. "It's nothing if it happens once in a while! I was just planning to go look at the car!"

During this winter vacation, Chu Beichen made a lot of money, accompanying Su Nian in reselling warrants, and easily made 30,000 yuan. However, Chu Beichen refused to accept the payment Su Nian advanced him for the goods, and finally, after Su Nian's repeated insistence, he kept the principal.

"Are you going to buy a car?" Chu Beichen now lives in the house left by his father. He has a bright future. Su Nian is not surprised that he wants to buy a car.

Chu Beichen turned the steering wheel and said, "Yes, I didn't have the opportunity to drive when I was in the northwest. Now that I'm back in Quzhou, it's still convenient to have a private car!"

Su Nian seemed to be lost in thought, and suddenly she remembered something: in 1992, a group of peacekeeping troops were going to Africa. She had seen this on the military channel when she was in the provincial capital.

This time Chu Beichen returned to Quzhou early. I wonder what impact it will have on his career?
