The Su Pharmaceutical Factory was located in the suburbs, which was sparsely populated. There were only some farmlands around it but no rivers or water areas. It was a full two hours away from the city.
As we were about to reach the pharmaceutical factory, we saw that the surroundings were green and the crops were growing well.
Su Nian and Chu Beichen chatted all the way, wondering what kind of person the owner of the farm was. Now seeing the green mountains and clear waters, they couldn't help but become more curious about the farm.
The pharmaceutical factory has been surrounded by barbed wire and the exterior walls are painted white, looking clean and tidy.
After passing the pharmaceutical factory, the convoy filed into the fields. At the end of the fields, there was a farm. The farm was not big, but the walls were not low. It was probably used to keep the animals in to prevent them from running out and scaring people!
It seemed that the director had dealt with the owner of the farm before, and although it took some effort, he finally opened the door.
Su Nian and Chu Beichen asked all the attendants to wait at the door, and only the two of them followed the director into the farm.
"Chairman, General Manager, you have to be careful. This farm owner keeps all the large animals in captivity, but some small animals are still allowed to roam free," the director reminded in a low voice.
As soon as he finished speaking, he saw a black shadow flash, and the director's fashionable baseball cap disappeared!
Su Nian pointed at the tree in surprise, "Look, a little monkey!"
I saw a little monkey sitting on the peach tree in front, wearing a director's baseball cap on his head, and looking at Su Nian and the other two with his eyes rolling around!
"This is simply a monkey robber!" The director was very angry at the monkey for grabbing the hat without saying a word. He was about to find a stick to beat the monkey when he heard Su Nian talking.
"Forget it, it's just a hat. Shouting for war and killing is really beneath the identity of our pharmaceutical company. Just go back to the finance department and get the money to buy the hat!" Su Nian has always been kind to small animals.
After hearing this, the director understood that Su Nian didn't want him to embarrass Monkey, so he quickly stopped and hid the stick.
"What are you doing here again?" An old man with white hair and beard walked out slowly, and with him came two dogs.
The two dogs were large in size, but they looked very human-like. When they almost reached Su Nian and Chu Beichen, they stopped and sat on their hind legs.
The director was a big, strong man, but he was afraid of dogs. He had already hidden behind Chu Beichen, with only his head showing. He said to the farm owner tremblingly, "These two are our bosses. They want to talk to you!"
The farm owner saw Chu Beichen's imposing bearing and Su Nian's beauty and generosity, and his disgust faded a little. He pointed to the pergola not far away and said, "Let's go sit over there and talk!"
The pergola was made of bamboo, with grapes hanging on it. It was cool and pleasing to the eye. After a few people sat down, a wobbly little monkey came up with a bamboo basket. The basket was filled with seasonal fruits, which seemed to be produced by the farm itself.
Seeing the monkey put down the fruit and then grinned and made faces at the director, Su Nian couldn't help laughing, "You are such a sensible monkey!"
The farm owner's tense face finally relaxed. He loved animals, and when he heard Su Nian praising the monkey, it was like his own child being praised. Looking at Su Nian and Chu Beichen, his eyes were full of kindness.
"You two are both people who do great things. Are you coming to my small place today to buy land?"
Su Nian didn't hide it and nodded directly, "You're right, I did come here for the land, but that doesn't stop us from making friends with you!"
