Chapter 189: Drunk (Part 3)
Ye Yao told Li Cheng roughly what had happened, including how his clothes were stripped off by a teenage boy.
Li Cheng wanted to slap Zheng Lu twice, he was such a loser.
"Zheng Lu? Wake up!"
"Stop yelling. I tried. There's no response."
Ye Yao interrupted him.
She didn't know Zheng Lu's contact information, so she could only call him.
Li Cheng sighed and asked Xiao Xu to help carry Zheng Lu on his back.
"May I?"
Ye Yao asked, she had checked and there were no tricycles outside, so they could only walk back.
Li Chengdan, who was lying on Zheng Lu's back, looked at her again.
"You want to go home too? Come with me."
Ye Yao was stunned for a moment, then nodded.
If there are any problems on the road, she can help.

"Thank you for your help today. If it weren't for you, this kid would have frozen to death."
On the way back, Li Cheng thanked her on behalf of Zheng Lu.
"I didn't want to care at first. If he freezes to death, there will be one less person targeting me."
Ye Yao teased absentmindedly.
Li Cheng chuckled. This girl really said one thing and meant another.
Even if she really had such thoughts, her conscience would never let her stand idly by.
"You don't believe it? I'm not a good person, and I hate Zheng Lu too."
Ye Yao continued to add one sentence.
Anyway, she had nothing to hide in front of him.
"You should hate him. This guy sometimes does things that are annoying."
Ye Yao stopped and looked at him with a puzzled look.
"What's wrong?"
Why are you looking at him like that all of a sudden? "Nothing, I just think you're hard to understand."
Ye Yao spoke the truth, for example, he had helped her for no reason these days, and he had stood by her unconditionally when she had conflicts with his friends.
If she hadn't been self-aware, she would have really thought that he was interested in her.
"It's hard to understand? So you really want to understand me?"
Li Cheng looked at her inquiringly. He was clearly speaking in line with her words, but his words made her heart skip a beat.
Why does it sound so ambiguous?
"Oh, of course not."
They will break off the engagement soon, and even being friends will be a stretch in the future.
Li Cheng didn't say anything and his expression didn't change.
"Um, why is Zheng Lu so drunk?"
Ye Yao felt embarrassed and took the initiative to change the subject.
But after saying it, he felt like an idiot. He was not Zheng Lu, so how would he know?
"You're not in a good mood."
Li Cheng didn't continue the previous topic at all.
"I didn't expect that he was the kind of person who drank to drown his sorrows. Normally, seeing him being so noisy, I thought he didn't care about anything."
Ye Yao sighed, but in fact he was actually feeling a bit gloating in his heart.
The two chatted intermittently and before they knew it they arrived at the compound.
"I'm going back first."
Ye Yao's family and Zheng Lu's family were not in the same direction, so they greeted Li Cheng.
"Ye Yao."
She had already taken two steps when Li Cheng's voice sounded from behind her.
"Thank you."
Ye Yao raised the corners of his mouth slightly, without looking back, and soon his back disappeared in the moonlight.
Li Cheng stood there until he could no longer see her, then he looked away.
He shook Zheng Lu on his back hard and let out a breath.
"You little bastard, you made me carry you all the way. Wait till tomorrow and see how I'll deal with you!"
