Chapter 375: Revealing the True Face

Tang Liye sat there and never looked up at Tang Jingshu.

He was afraid that if he looked up, his emotions would be exposed.

Tang Jingshu chatted with Molly for a few more sentences, then said she wanted to go back to her room to change clothes. She also asked Molly if she wanted to visit her uncle's relatives.

Just as Tang Jingshu was about to go upstairs, the phone in her hand rang.

When Tang Jingshu heard the phone ringing, her face suddenly became a little stiff.

I don't really want to answer it.

Molly's eyes turned and she looked at Tang Jingshu, curling her lips and saying, "Jingshu, answer the phone."

Tang Jingshu smiled and said, "It's okay, I'll answer it later."

She couldn't guarantee who was calling.

Whether it was Lin Yongqiang or Zheng Wei, she didn't dare to answer in front of Tang Liye and Molly.

Tang Jingshu hung up the phone casually, and then went upstairs.

Soon, the phone rang again.

Molly blocked her way, looking at her with deep eyes, "Come on, Jingshu, what's wrong with you? Are you hiding something from us?"

Tang Jingshu's face changed slightly, and she quickly denied it, "No, Mom, how could I hide something from you and my dad?"

She had no choice but to answer the phone in order to avoid Molly's suspicion.

I was hoping for a lucky break, thinking it couldn't possibly be Lin Yongqiang or Qiumei.

Lin Yongqiang called her on New Year's Eve, but she didn't answer. Qiumei had also been back to her hometown for a long time.

She thought that they should be able to have some peace and quiet during the New Year holidays.

Tang Jingshu answered the phone, and then she heard an anxious voice on the other end of the phone, "Jingshu, no, Lin Min has come to Bincheng! I'm next to Laoji Restaurant at the intersection of Qingnian South Road.

In the store, come on time at eleven o'clock."

There was a female voice on the phone. The signal was very poor and I couldn't hear it clearly, but I could roughly tell it was Qiumei's voice.

After saying that, the person on the other end hung up the phone.

When Tang Jingshu heard the voice coming from the phone, a look of panic flashed across her face.

He glanced at Molly and subconsciously put away his cell phone.

What did Qiumei say on the phone?

Lin Min came to Bincheng?

In an instant, Tang Jingshu's whole head was lifted up.

A chill suddenly rose from the soles of my feet.

How could that be?

Didn’t that country girl marry a disabled man?

Why did you come to Bincheng?

Qiumei just mentioned Qingnian Road, could it be that she is from Bincheng?

Molly looked at her and asked casually, "Jingshu, what's wrong? Who called you?"

Tang Jingshu's lips trembled slightly, her eyes flickered wildly, and a smile appeared at the corner of her mouth. "No one, just a classmate, asked me to go to the teacher's house to pay New Year's greetings."

Invite her to visit the teacher's home for New Year's greetings...

Molly looked at Tang Jingshu as if she was looking at a monster.

It turned out that her skill in lying was not so advanced.

Just open your mouth.

If she didn't know what this phone call was about, she would have been fooled by her.

In the past, she had lied to them without blushing or feeling any heartbeat, right?

Molly found the thought horrible.

What a horrible thing she had raised!

Molly looked gloomy, "Really?"

Tang Liye, who was sitting on the sofa, exuded an extremely cold aura.

Tang Jingshu could feel that Molly seemed to suspect something, but she was too busy to go along with it or explain.

Lin Min came to Bincheng. This information was too fatal for her.

She had to find out, she had to stop her from staying in Bincheng.

If not, she's done.

Tang Jingshu held the mobile phone, still with a sweet smile on her face, "Yes, Mom and Dad, I can't accompany you today. I will go meet up with my classmates first, wish the teacher a happy new year, and wait for you to come back."

I'll be back this afternoon, shall we make dumplings? We've never made dumplings during Chinese New Year."

Molly's body was tense, her fingers tugged at the corner of her clothes, she gritted her teeth, trying to calm herself down, not wanting to reveal her true identity immediately, she nodded, "You go."

"I'll go change my clothes first." Tang Jingshu went upstairs.

As soon as she went upstairs, Tang Liye slammed the cup of water in his hand onto the coffee table, spilling water all over the table.

Molly could see that Tang Liye was furious and sad, and was afraid that he would lose control immediately.

I quickly pulled him to the study.

Tang Jingshu returned to her room, closed the door, and started dialing the number.

She had to call and ask clearly. She found out where Qiumei was now.

Has Lin Min already arrived in Bincheng or has she just set out? She must stop her from setting foot in Bincheng.

At this time, in a dim room.

Gu Jingchuan, Lin Min and Tang Ze sat on the chair together.

A man in black clothes and with a crew cut, holding a mobile phone in his hand.

When the phone rang, he looked at Tang Ze, who was sitting on a chair beside him and was wearing a black coat, and said respectfully, "Master, the phone is ringing."

Tang Ze waved his hand, "Take it, and answer as I told you just now."

The man with a crew cut picked up the phone.

A hurried female voice sounded, "Hey, you, who are you?"

"Who are you?" the man with a crew cut asked back.

The other party asked again, "Just now, were you the one who called me?"

The man with the crew cut glanced at the people in the room and shook his head, "Oh, it wasn't me. It was a rural woman with a ponytail who borrowed my phone and called you."

Tang Jingshu asked, "Where is she?"

"He seems to be heading towards the intersection of Qingnian Road. He seems to have had some trouble. He is very anxious..."

Tang Jingshu hung up the phone with a click.

The man with the crew cut handed the phone to Tang Ze respectfully, "Master, hang up."

Tang Ze looked at Lin Min and Gu Jingchuan, "She's taken the bait."

Tang Ze called Molly again.

Molly and Tang Liye in the study.

The phone rang and she answered it.

It was Tang Ze's voice, "Mom, it's done. If she goes out, remember to call me."

"T."

Tang Liye could no longer control his emotions.

The tall man stood up from the chair and wanted to rush out.

But he was stopped by Molly.

"Old Tang, don't be impulsive. Wait until she gets out."

Soon, Tang Jingshu came down from the stairs. She changed out of her cotton-padded jacket, put on a tweed coat, and prepared to go out with her bag.

Later, when she saw no one in the living room, she called out, "Dad, Mom."

Molly poked her head out of the study, her face cold, "Are you going out now?"

Tang Jingshu nodded obediently, "Well, Mom, I'm going out."

"Go ahead."

Tang Jingshu had something on her mind and was in no mood to chat with Molly. She smiled at her and walked out the door quickly.

By the time the sound of the door closing was heard in the living room, Molly's face had become extremely cold.

She called Tang Ze again, "She's out. Have someone bring Qiumei over."

"T."

Molly put away the phone and looked at Tang Liye, "Old Tang, let's go out too."

Tang Liye's body was shaking but he didn't move.

Molly knew that Tang Liye didn't want to face this fact. It was cruel and ironic for him to see with his own eyes the true face of the daughter he raised.

It was like a slap in the face.

Tell everyone how much of a failure his education was.

Isn't Molly feeling equally uncomfortable?

But now, if they are not ruthless, how can they be fair to their biological daughter who has suffered so much?
