Chapter 944: Surge of Thoughts

Chapter 944: Surge of Thoughts

Cao Xiaorui immediately responded: "I heard from Teacher Wu that she is a victim after all, so the police called her over."

Ji Yuanyuan stared at Cao Xiaorui's previous message and did not reply for a long time.

Cao Xiaorui, on the other hand, began to chatter non-stop: "This Li Xiaoxi is also weird. It's been so long since the incident happened, and the surgery was done, but he actually turned himself in. What's the purpose? Could it be that he really has a change of heart?"

Ji Yuanyuan didn't respond, but just said, "I should go to bed. I have to get up early tomorrow. Let's talk another day."

Cao Xiaorui was very tactful and did not continue the topic. After saying good night, she said nothing more.

After Ji Yuanyuan finished cleaning up, she lay on the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling, not saying a word for a long time.

It was very strange. Li Xiaoxi had already turned herself in, and the truth of the matter had finally come to light, but she still couldn't be happy.

At this moment, Li Xiaoxi's surrender no longer has any meaning.

It is impossible for Teacher Wu's hands to return to their previous state.

Ji Yuanyuan could hardly sleep that night.

This state lasted until the early morning of the next day, and the moment he saw Qin Mucheng, he reached his peak.

The moment she saw Qin Mucheng, her eyes couldn't help but turn red.

Tears began to fall.

Qin Mucheng was originally smiling, holding Tangtang in one hand and pulling the suitcase with the other, accommodating Tangtang's pace and approaching Ji Yuanyuan little by little.

But when he saw Ji Yuanyuan's tears, his expression changed. He picked up Tangtang with one hand, quickened his pace, and walked towards Ji Yuanyuan.

After a moment, he stood in front of Ji Yuanyuan. He put Tangtang and the suitcase down, stretched out his hands, and hugged Ji Yuanyuan.

Seeing this, Tangtang pulled Ji Yuanyuan's clothes with some concern and asked, "Mom, why are you crying? Did someone bully you?"

After all, in Tangtang's impression, her mother is very strong.

Growing up, she had hardly ever seen her mother cry.

So when Ji Yuanyuan started crying, Tangtang panicked.

Ji Yuanyuan finally came to her senses and realized that she shouldn't cry in front of the child.

She quickly struggled out of Qin Mucheng's arms.

She wiped her tears and forced a smile: "Mom just missed you so much, that's why I cried."

She half squatted down, opened her arms, and wanted to give Tangtang a hug.

But Tangtang said, "Mom, you are lying. You just hugged Dad. You are missing Dad."

Ji Yuanyuan was stunned for a moment, then awkwardly changed the subject: "Are you sleepy? Do you want to go back to the hotel and rest now or eat something before resting?"

Tangtang understood what was going on, but she still followed Ji Yuanyuan's words and said, "I'm not hungry. I want to rest first."

Ji Yuanyuan reached out and held Tangtang's hand, while Qin Mucheng walked out with the suitcase.

Tangtang was indeed sleepy. After returning to the hotel, she fell asleep out of exhaustion without saying a few words to Ji Yuanyuan.

Ji Yuanyuan booked a suite. She carefully came out of Tangtang's room, closed the door gently, and came to Qin Mucheng's room.

As soon as she put her hand on the door handle, the door suddenly opened.

A hand stretched out from inside and roughly pulled Ji Yuanyuan into the room.

She was pressed against the door panel, and she could hear Qin Mucheng's heavy breathing.

She could feel Qin Mucheng's surging longing.

She reached out and hugged Qin Mucheng's neck.

She closed her eyes and whispered: "Mu Cheng..."
