Zhan Jinhua looked calm and waited for Wang Guoqiang and his wife, whose faces had turned purple, to arrange a room for her.
There are only four rooms in the house. Although two rooms are empty today, they belong to his son's family. Wang Guoqiang's wife doesn't want to let that fat woman Zhan Jinhua live in them no matter what.
Zhan Jinhua's patience was limited. Seeing that the couple was in a dilemma, she simply walked straight towards the open master bedroom, muttering, "I'm used to sleeping in a large room with a balcony. This one should suit me..."
"That's where we live, you are not allowed to enter..." Wang Guoqiang's wife stepped forward and stopped Zhan Jinhua.
Zhan Jinhua smiled a scoundrelly smile: "Sister-in-law, you are so old, why don't you know how to treat guests? I am your guest, what's wrong with you giving way to me? I can't stay for a few days..."
She pushed Wang Guoqiang's wife away, walked in with the suitcase, and slammed the bedroom door from the inside.
Wang Guoqiang's wife was going crazy on the spot, her hands shaking uncontrollably as she pointed at the bedroom door.
She vented her anger at Wang Guoqiang: "If you don't get her out of here quickly, you can't come back to this house."
Wang Guoqiang was afraid of angering Zhan Jinhua, so he quickly grabbed his wife, covered her mouth, and whispered, "Alright, stop it, I'll think of a way..."
That night, Wang Guoqiang went to his grandson's room, and his wife went to his son and daughter-in-law's room, but neither of them could fall asleep.
With the time bomb of Zhan Jinhua around, they felt really uneasy.
The next morning, Wang Guoqiang went to work. His wife was angry, so she made some porridge for her parents-in-law and didn't eat anything herself.
Zhan Jinhua didn’t know whether it was because she was accompanied by someone or because she was too tired, but she slept soundly anyway.
By the time Zhan Jinhua woke up, it was already noon. Wang Guoqiang's wife had only prepared meals for her parents-in-law and hadn't prepared anything for anyone else.
Now that her grandson is in junior high school, which is a bit far from her home, her son and daughter-in-law have directly dropped him off at the daycare center at the school gate. She no longer has to make multiple trips back and forth every day to pick him up.
She was so angry that she couldn't eat at all, let alone serve Zhan Jinhua.
Wang Guoqiang was uneasy throughout his morning work. After everyone left for lunch, he lingered for a while, creating a new identity for Zhan Jinhua and submitting it.
He applied for an expedited application, which required a three-day wait for the permit to be issued. This was not the first time Wang Guoqiang had done this, and he was familiar with it, but because he felt guilty, he was always in a state of panic and anxiety, always feeling that something was going to go wrong.
When he returned home, Zhan Jinhua was at loggerheads with his wife.
Zhan Jinhua asked Wang Guoqiang's wife to cook for her or buy food for her.
She even ordered the dishes: braised pork ribs, braised prawns, and cold-mixed pig ears. Wang Guoqiang's wife immediately started arguing with her.
Seeing that there was a stranger in the house who was acting so domineeringly, Wang Guoqiang's father helped his daughter-in-law to quarrel with Zhan Jinhua, but was pushed down by Zhan Jinhua all of a sudden.
Fortunately, the old man fell on the sofa, otherwise he would have been seriously injured.
When Wang Guoqiang came back, he saw his family members fighting with Zhan Jinhua.
He felt like his head was about to explode, his face gloomy and watery: "I've already done it for you, it will be available to you in three days. Please be quiet for the next few days, I beg you..."
Wang Guoqiang suppressed his anger and spoke humbly to Zhan Jinhua, which made Zhan Jinhua calm down a little.
She looked at Wang Guoqiang and said, "I don't mean to embarrass you, but I'm desperate now. If you don't care about me, I'll die. It would be worth it if I had someone to accompany me on my way..."
Zhan Jinhua's words were full of threats, but after Wang Guoqiang's persuasion, everyone in the room quieted down.
Wang Guoqiang also sent a message to his sons, saying that there were a lot of things going on at home recently and asked them not to come back for meals in the next week.
For the next three days, Zhan Jinhua enjoyed good food and drink at Wang Guoqiang's house and spent a few comfortable days.
On the third day, when Wang Guoqiang got Zhan Jinhua's new ID card, he rushed home, handed the ID card to Zhan Jinhua, and asked her to leave quickly with the ID card.
Zhan Jinhua hadn't planned to stay here long. She took out her ID and looked at it. This time, the name was changed to "Wang Chunhua," and the photo he had taken of her was used.
After she confirmed that there was no problem with the documents, she did not intend to give Wang Guoqiang any bribes, but instead asked Wang Guoqiang to sponsor her some living expenses.
In the end, Wang Guoqiang returned all the benefits he had received from Zhan Jinhua.
After Zhan Jinhua left, Wang Guoqiang finally breathed a sigh of relief. However, his wife refused to give in and kept throwing things around in the kitchen.
She went into the kitchen for a long time, came out angrily without cooking anything, took off her apron and threw it on the ground, went into the bedroom to pack her luggage, and prepared to go to her mother's house to live for a while.
Before that, she rolled up all the bedding and pillows used by Zhan Jinhua and planned to dispose of them as garbage.
Zhan Jinhua didn't care how Wang Guoqiang's family lived. Now that she had a new identity, she went straight to buy a high-speed rail ticket, and her destination was an inconspicuous fifth-tier city.
After Zhan Jinhua arrived at the station, she rented a house with her new ID card and settled down there.
After living with Wang Guoqiang's family for a few days, she didn't have any nightmares and had forgotten about the incident.
Unexpectedly, the nightmare came as expected on the first day of my living alone.
This time she clearly felt that it was Sun Xiaohao who came to take her life.
She followed a group of people up the mountain, surrounding a grave to perform a ritual. The cold wind blew, making people shudder.
