"You eat it."
Uncle Cheng picked up the chicken leg and gave it back to Zhou Lanping.
The two of them kept pushing the things to each other without noticing anything. Liu Liang was standing at the door with a face full of resentment.
Liu Liang took a big mouthful of rice, then turned around and resisted the urge to throw the disgustingly sticky man out.
Uncle Cheng was wearing an apron and was busy in the kitchen, washing dishes and sweeping the floor. He was very virtuous. Looking at him, you could tell that he was often busy in the kitchen and was used to doing kitchen work.
He was wiping the dishes with a rag, humming some song, and looked very leisurely.
He had just put the plate down and turned around when he was startled. But within a second, he started laughing heartily.
"It's Jingjing. What do you want? I'll get it for you."
Liu Liang just stared at him without blinking, while Uncle Cheng was still smiling, with fine lines appearing at the corners of his eyes.
Liu Liang didn't say anything and just stood there like a pillar.
"Didn't you expect that?"
Uncle Cheng asked in a good-tempered manner.
"Then think about it slowly. Uncle still needs to wash the dishes. The dishes must be washed clean, otherwise bacteria will easily grow."
He stopped humming and started chattering instead.
"Who are you?"
Liu Liang suddenly asked.
"I was picked up by your mother."
Uncle Cheng continued to wash the dishes, and his slender fingers looked very nice.
"Who are you?"
Liu Liang asked again.
"Oh, I forgot."
Uncle Cheng sighed, "Maybe I'll remember it later."
"ID number?"
Uncle Cheng gave out a string of numbers without even thinking.
But after he finished reporting, he suddenly stopped what he was doing.
He turned on the faucet and rinsed the detergent foam off his hands.
He turned around and continued to look at Liu Liang with a smile.
"No wonder your mother said you were so smart. You were the top student in the school. Your IQ is really not bad."
"You don't have to tell me."
Liu Liang curled her lips in a sarcastic tone.
You can pretend anything, but you can't react instinctively.
"Let's find a place to talk."
Uncle Cheng wiped his hands on his apron and walked out of the kitchen. Soon, the two of them were sitting at the stone table. Whenever Liu Jing saw the stone table and the empty space on the side of the table, she would remember the stone pillar that she had not taken back.
If I bring it back, it will look so nice here.
Her extremely resentful face also made Uncle Cheng feel uncomfortable. He knew from the beginning that there was a little monster in Zhou Lanping's family who was not easy to fool, but he didn't expect it to be so tricky.
Only then did Liu Jing raise her head and stare straight into Uncle Cheng's eyes.
His eyes were still quite clean and dust-free, with a kind of helplessness and tolerance, just like the look Zhou Lanping gave her sometimes. This was tolerance for the younger generation and also for children.
Liu Jing didn't seem to be that uncomfortable. She didn't feel any ill will from this person at all. She said that she had the Yangxi Jue in her body and was extremely sensitive to changes in people's emotions.
That's why she didn't kick the man out as soon as he entered the door.
"You don't have amnesia?"
Liu Liang asked directly.
“Well, no.”
Uncle Cheng touched his head embarrassedly. The wound had healed long ago, and coupled with his amazing recovery ability, there was not even a scar to be found.
Besides, the doctors said that it was just a scalp break and there was a lot of bleeding. It was a lot of noise but little action. It seemed like there was a lot of bleeding, but in fact, it was just a small cut.
He smiled and sighed.
"Do you think memories are so easy to lose? How many people want to forget the bad, the painful, the self-paralyzing, the self-destructive things that happened from time to time, but how many people can really forget?"
"This is memory. It exists with everyone, and we live and die together. It is a part of everyone's body. I really want to forget everything, but I, your uncle, have a smart brain just like you."
As he spoke, he raised his hand and patted the top of Liu Liang's head.
Liu Liang suddenly felt a strange sensation coming from his fingers.
She felt warm and wanted to talk back, but she knew that he was tolerant enough to tolerate anything she did.
"snort!"
Liu Liang snorted coldly.
"Who are you and why are you following my mother?"
You've been talking for a long time but it's all nonsense. Don't play word games with her, show off your literary talent, or act like a philosopher.
"My name is Cheng Bin."
Uncle Cheng, no, Cheng Bin crossed his legs. This posture is really amazing. Although he is already an uncle, he is also a handsome uncle.
"I'm forty years old and have a son who's a few years older than you."
Liu Liang was not surprised. People should get married and have children. It would be strange if someone was still single at such an old age.
"I know what you want to ask." Cheng Bin explained everything without waiting for Liu Jing to speak.
"My wife died in childbirth, and it's been nearly twenty years now."
When he mentioned his deceased wife, he was still feeling a little sad. He said that memories exist with people, no matter if they are good or bad, happy or painful, they are all the same.
“So I’m single now.”
"Why did you come to my house? What's your intention?"
