The two people downstairs were still arguing. Xia Ying listened to the voices downstairs and pulled Xia Mufei to the attic on the rooftop with an expressionless face.
There was only one room in the rooftop attic, but fortunately there was a bed inside. Xia Mufei thought that if the two of them squeezed in, they might be able to fit in. He looked at Xia Ying's face, which seemed to be indifferent to everything, and tried to find something to break the awkwardness between the two of them.

In the evening, Xia Mufei smelled the fragrance coming from downstairs and was surprised to realize that they had not eaten since noon. Because the construction of the base had not yet started, they were only provided with accommodation but not meals before being assigned to tasks.
Someone must be cooking rice porridge downstairs. The aroma made Xia Mufei inhale again and again.
Suddenly, something hit him. Xia Mufei looked down and found that it was a sausage!
"Hey, you, where did you get it?"
Xia Mufei watched as Xia Ying brought another bag of biscuits, opened it, and placed it between the two of them.
"In the bag," Xia Ying replied.
Well, just pretend that he didn't ask. Xia Mufei felt embarrassed for just taking other people's food for free.
"If you don't want to eat it, throw it away. I won't take back anything I give away." Xia Ying's voice came from outside the door.
Well, it would be a shame to throw it away, so he should just eat it. This is ham sausage, the super big kind, the kind that people used to cook before the end of the world.
Xia Mufei gratefully tore open the outer packaging of the ham sausage and started eating. The aroma of rice porridge downstairs no longer attracted his interest. The ham sausage was so delicious that he decided that as a superpower, he must protect Xia Ying in the future.
It was not until the next morning that Xia Mufei was awakened by a roar. He was very familiar with this roar. It was the roar of zombies!
Why are there zombies here?!
And judging by the sound, this person appeared downstairs from them?!
