Chapter 4 Trade Fairs

"Things at home are urgent, so I have to go back for a while," Su Jin smiled bitterly.

Wang Linda acted like a caring older sister and said to Su Jin, "Since that's the case, I won't force you to stay. I'll talk to Mr. Wang for you."

"Really? That's great, thank you Sister Linda!" She is just a naive and innocent girl, but she can also pretend!

Back in the cubicle, Wang Zhu stumbled upon a news report during his lunch break. A four-car pileup on Huaihe Road had killed five people, with three more still in critical condition. The scene was chaotic, and the road was congested for nearly two hours.

And Huaihe Road was the route that Su Jin had stopped Assistant Zhang from switching to this morning. Wang Zhu was extremely grateful that Assistant Zhang had listened to Su Jin, but was it really just a coincidence that they avoided that girl?

Assistant Zhang was also incredibly grateful, feeling that Su Jin was her lucky star. Not only had she avoided a traffic accident, but she'd also avoided a traffic jam. If he'd been late with Mr. Wang, it's no exaggeration to say he'd have blamed himself for the rest of his life!

Su Jin chatted with Wang Linda for a while, then excused himself to go to the restroom. He then headed straight for another theme pavilion. Su Jin's target was two theme pavilions: the grain and oil machinery exhibition, and the international tool and industrial consumables exhibition.

Because it was the closest, Su Jin first went to the theme exhibition related to cutting tools.

The lunch break was not long, and Su Jin just wanted to see what was there first.

In her previous life, Su Jin was simply amazed by the things she had never seen at trade fairs. This time, however, she became more and more excited. If she had these knives and tools, she would have more confidence in the safety of her family.

Su Jin walked into a booth selling long knives and took a fancy to a long knife with a silver handle at the door. For safety reasons, all the knives were chained to ensure that no one could take them away and do anything dangerous.

Su Jin was just about to touch the material of the knife when a voice suddenly stopped her. As a result, Su Jin's middle finger touched the corner of the knife.

Su Jin felt a pain and raised his hand to see that blood had already flowed from the wound to his wrist.

"Hey, didn't I tell you not to move? We won't do anything if you behave like that." Su Jin only then noticed the person who spoke. He was a thin young man with glasses. Su Jin was almost amused by his local dialect.

"I'm sorry, I didn't expect your knife to be so sharp." Su Jin wasn't angry because, judging by the depth of the wound, she was very satisfied with the sharpness of the knife. She planned to buy from this company again in the future.

Seeing that Su Jin didn't hold them responsible, the man with glasses softened his attitude. He turned around and muttered to himself, taking out a medicine box.

"It's my first day here, and I'm bleeding before I even start doing business. It's unlucky, it's unlucky." After saying that, he sighed and gestured for Su Jin to stretch out his hand so that he could bandage it.

After the man with glasses bandaged Su Jin, he began to praise Su Jin: "You lost so much blood, but you didn't say a word, you are so capable."

Su Jin couldn't help but laugh at his accent and said, "I've never been afraid of pain from injections since I was a child, and I rarely cry when I get them. By the way, handsome guy, are you alone here?"

The man with glasses, delighted by the call of "handsome guy," said happily, "Business isn't very good, and I'm the only one here. So, all the commission from the sales will go to me. So, beautiful girl, do you want to buy a knife too?"

"I want to buy a lot, but I don't know how to take it back home." Su Jin took another look at the store. It was very good, with all kinds of long and short knives.

"You don't have to worry about that. Each of our knives has a registration number, so we can ship them by express delivery. Shipping is free, too." Seeing the God of Wealth arrive, the man with glasses felt the gloom of a morning without business finally dissipated. Is the sight of blood bad luck? Seeing blood is clearly a sign of prosperity!
