Tang Nuo smiled and replied, "I made a vow in my heart."
"Tsk!" Mu Cheng rolled her eyes. It was a pity that Tang Nuo could tell such a lie.
"Husband, how can you betray your own brother like this!" Ouyang Sisi said the words of blame, but a gloating smile was on her face.
Hehe! Why is she so happy seeing her brother get humiliated?
"Stop talking nonsense. If I don't dig a hole for him, Cheng'er won't let him off either." Tang Ye said with a smile, stood up, picked up Ouyang Sisi and walked downstairs.
The family sat at the dinner table, talking and laughing while eating. No one mentioned anything about the Rui family, as if the father and daughter had never appeared.
After dinner, everyone went back to their rooms to rest. Back in the room, Tang Nuo walked to the desk, sat down, picked up a document and looked through it. Mu Cheng dragged a stool and sat down beside him. "Brother, how are you going to deal with Lin Mier?"
Tang Nuo replied, "Detain him for a month and then release him."
"Do nothing, just lock her up for a month?" Mu Cheng was a little disappointed. She had thought that at least something would be done, but in the end, she was only locked up for a month. This was too easy for Lin Mier.
Tang Nuo replied calmly, "Imprisoned in the water dungeon for a month."
Mu Cheng was puzzled. "Water prison?" What was that place?
Tang Nuo explained, "It's a basement. The sewer down there must be a blockage somewhere, and water is seeping out. It's about a meter high. We asked someone to clear it before, but it didn't work. So they sealed the sewer that's connected to the basement."
"It's a natural underground water dungeon, and it's a place full of stinky water." Mu Cheng smiled, finally satisfied with this.
"Yes! The iron gate is located at the ramp leading down to the basement. There's a very narrow dry area inside, just enough for her to sit down. But she can't just sit there and not move around. Plus, the water inside is really smelly, so I promise this month will be one she'll never forget."
As Tang Nuo spoke, he picked up a pen and signed the document. Then he put the document down and pulled Mu Cheng to sit on his lap. "Are you satisfied with the idea I came up with, your man?"
Although she felt relieved, Mu Cheng was still a little worried. "Will she freeze to death in there when winter comes? When you come back tonight, Uncle Tang said he'll post a notice. If she dies, how will we explain it then?"
Tang Nuo smiled and said, "When winter comes and she's suffered enough in there, we can take her out and lock her up somewhere else."
Mu Cheng nodded in satisfaction. She didn't want the Tang family to be accused of taking human life for the sake of an unworthy person.
Tang Nuo looked at Mu Cheng with a smile, "Cheng'er, are you going to reward me for venting my anger for you?"
Mu Cheng tilted her head and thought for a while, then held Tang Nuo's face with both hands and kissed him hard on the lips.
