Chapter 6: First Encounter with a Zombie

After the end of the world, some people with strong willpower will not turn into zombies immediately after being infected. They will keep switching between zombies and living people.

If it can't hold on, it will turn into a zombie. This type of zombie is stronger than ordinary zombies outside, and usually becomes a level three or above zombie after mutation.

If it persists, it will become a zombie. Except for the eyes, the appearance of zombies is no different from that of living people, but they are stronger than humans and zombies. They can control ordinary zombies and become zombie kings. They can also pretend to be humans and enter the crowd to do many terrible things.

Mu Cheng left the space and followed the sound. The crystal core in the zombie's brain was more powerful than the crystal core of an ordinary zombie. Since she met a zombie who was transforming, she didn't want to miss that crystal core.

Mu Cheng followed the sound to the prison. The prison door was locked. She took out a gun, installed a silencer, and fired five or six shots before breaking the door lock.

Mu Cheng entered the prison and turned on the lights immediately. When the prisoners saw Mu Cheng, they immediately rushed to the door, shaking the iron gate and shouting.

"Help, let us out."

"Save me."

"Help me."

The mutated zombies also rushed to the door, banging on the iron door and roaring.

Mu Cheng did not bother to stop the prisoners, but followed the sound to find the whereabouts of the zombie.

She found the zombie in a prison at the end of the corridor.

It was a man in military uniform. His back was facing Mu Cheng, so his face could not be seen clearly, but one could see that his hands were handcuffed. He was roaring in pain, struggling, and kicking.

"Ah!" The man smelled the scent of a living person. He roared, turned around, and looked at Mu Cheng with a pair of red eyes.

It's him!

Mu Cheng looked at the man in disbelief.

Tang Nuo, the company commander of the Capital Eagle Special Operations Company, is the second young master of the Tang family. The Tang family occupies a very important position in the capital and in the entire military.

Tang Nuo's father, Tang Guohua, was his uncle's comrade-in-arms and his uncle's superior, and they lived in the same military compound.

Her eldest brother and Tang Nuo were good friends. When she was a child playing at her aunt's house, she often ran around the yard behind her eldest brother and Tang Nuo. Tang Nuo was like an older brother, protecting her, giving her delicious food, and facing all her pranks with a smile.

About two months ago, her eldest brother sent her a photo of Tang Nuo when he grew up, implying that Cheng Jiang was really not suitable for her, and it would be better for her to try to get in touch with Tang Nuo. Tang Nuo was a very good person, and with the relationship with the Su family, he would definitely treat her well.

Tang Nuo looked at the girl outside the door and used up all his rationality to say with difficulty, "Go, go quickly."

He didn't want anyone to see him like this, and he didn't want to hurt anyone, so he left alone and hid in prison.

Save him.

There was a voice in his mind that kept reminding Mu Cheng to save Tang Nuo.

Mu Cheng took out the key he had picked up when he came in, opened the iron gate, walked in, approached Tang Nuo step by step, and squatted beside him.

His head was covered in blood, and the surrounding ground, walls, and iron doors were all covered in blood. This was probably caused by the difficult transition process, which led him to choose self-harm.

Mu Cheng's eyes fell on his hands.

His hands had been rubbed bloody by the handcuffs, and there was a wound on his right arm, which was probably caused by a zombie biting off his flesh. The wound was black and black blood kept flowing out.
