Master Yang clapped his hands, and a waiter came in. Master Yang whispered something in the waiter's ear, and the waiter left.
Mu Cheng didn't know what Master Yang wanted to do. She put down her coffee and looked outside. This location was very good. She could see the square in the distance and the street below.
After waiting for a while, the waiter came in with a contract and handed it to Master Yang.
After the waiter left, Master Yang signed his name on the document and handed it to Mu Cheng.
Mu Cheng took a look at the document. It was a transfer contract. Master Yang transferred the cafe to Mu Cheng.
Mu Cheng looked at Master Yang with a smile on his face. "Captain Yang, what's this?"
Master Yang said, "Captain Mu, Jiang'er was wronged by you in the past, but now it's over and you've found the one you love. Can we just let go of the past?"
If there weren't so many things going on, I could indeed stop, but that's not possible now.
Mu Cheng thought this in her heart, but she didn't show it. She just smiled and said, "It's the past. I don't intend to make a fuss about it."
Master Yang took a sip of his coffee before smiling and saying, "Captain Mu, let's be frank. Those videos were made by Director Tang YG, right?"
Mu Cheng neither admitted nor refuted, stirring the coffee in the quilt with a spoon in her hand.
Master Yang spoke again, "Captain Mu, sign this contract and this cafe will be yours. Can we put aside our past grudges?"
Mu Cheng didn't say anything, still stirring the coffee in the cup.
Master Yang continued, "To be honest with you, Captain Mu, I plan to leave the Capital Base next spring."
Mu Cheng continued to stir the cup, and after a long while, he said, "Captain Yang, I know what you wanted from me."
A hint of surprise flashed across Master Yang's eyes, but he quickly hid it and said with a smile, "Captain Mu, what are you talking about? What can I get from you?"
Mu Cheng said two words lightly: "Change your fate."
Master Yang's face changed completely. He sat in his seat without saying a word, just looking at Mu Cheng. He remembered very clearly that they had never talked about this topic at home during this period, except for a few mentions last night.
Mu Cheng didn't say anything, just stirred the coffee boredly.
Both of them were patient people. They sat there for more than an hour. The coffee on the table had long since gone cold. There was no other sound in the private room except the rustling sound of the spoon hitting the quilt.
Finally, Master Yang lost his patience and asked, "Where did Captain Mu hear that?"
After saying this, Master Yang waved his hand and said, "These are just hearsay. How can you say that fate can be changed or not?"
"Mr. Ye." Mu Cheng uttered a few words, then raised his head to look at Master Yang. "This person should be your senior brother!"
Hearing this name, Master Yang's eyes flashed, and after a moment of silence, he asked, "Captain Mu, do you still know?"
Mu Cheng continued stirring the coffee in her cup and said casually, "If I told Captain Yang that your son was plotted against and that everything was planned by your senior brother, would you believe it?"
Master Yang's face darkened, and Mu Cheng knew that Jiang'er was his son.
But what does this matter have to do with the eldest brother?
Master Yang had many doubts in his mind, but he didn't say anything. He didn't know how much truth there was in Mu Cheng's words, nor did he know if Mu Cheng was trying to trick him.
Mu Cheng took out the USB drive Tang Nuo had given her and placed it on the table. She said, "There's a surveillance camera in the living room wall. Captain Yang can look for it when he goes back home tonight without turning on the lights."
Mu Cheng stood up and said calmly, "When I found out you were using me, I really hated you and was indeed planning revenge on you. But last night I realized that you and I were just pawns in someone else's hands. So, Captain Yang, let it be! From now on, as long as you don't cause trouble for me and my family, I won't bother you anymore."
After saying this, Mu Cheng left without looking back.
