Chapter 12 Encountering Robbery
The speedboat was quite useful. Several men worked together to drag it underwater, and in just a couple of seconds, the supermarket window was smashed open.
As the windows were smashed open and a huge surge of water rushed out, a bunch of items that were floating in the water inside the supermarket were brought to the surface.
"Look, they've opened the door! Lots of potato chips!" Zhang Qian exclaimed excitedly when she saw a bunch of colorful things suddenly appear on the water's surface.
"Sister Yanzhi, can I borrow your net for a moment? I'll go and retrieve all these things." Among the group, only Gu Yanzhi brought a net. Although the others could all swim, none of them had such professional equipment at home. Having a diving mask was already quite good.

Gu Yanzhi took a fishing net out of the bag and handed it to Zhang Qian. After receiving the net, Zhang Qian drove the speedboat to the spot with the most floating debris and cast the net, reaping a bountiful harvest.

"I fished him out of the water. We ran out of food at home and had no choice but to go out and find something to eat." Uncle Zhang looked up and saw that it was a kind-hearted young man he had met when he helped people in the neighborhood go to the supermarket.
Everyone was straining their ears, eagerly anticipating the next sentence, which would reveal where he had found the fish. But Uncle Zhang kept his mouth shut, refusing to say another word.
As more and more people gathered around, the young man realized his rash actions and swallowed the question he was about to ask.
While they were chatting, Gu Yanzhi and several girls climbed up the stairs.
Afterwards, several men also climbed upstairs, leaving Song Zhao and Zhuang's father downstairs to guard the supplies.
The rope was lowered, and the people downstairs tied the boat to it. The people upstairs pulled it up with all their might.
With everyone's combined efforts, the inflatable boat and its contents were successfully hauled upstairs.
Gu Yanzhi and the others didn't have time to organize the supplies, so they simply moved everything to Zhuang Nanyang's house, which was the nearest one. They left Zhuang Nanyang and Gu Yanlin to guard the supplies and went out again without even taking a break.
The place they went to this morning is no secret and will be discovered soon; they want to bring back as many supplies as possible within the limited time they have.

On the second trip, everyone noticed the ship following behind them. However, no one stopped them. They showed no dissatisfaction with this behavior, and even quietly slowed down their ships so that those behind could keep up.

Just as Uncle Zhang was about to start the speedboat to continue on his way, Xiao Lin called him back.
"Brother Zhang, can I go with you?" Xiao Lin asked hesitantly, feeling embarrassed about taking advantage of others. However, thinking of his infant daughter and elderly mother with limited mobility at home, Xiao Lin gritted his teeth and continued.
“My family is really out of food. My boat can't go very far, and I haven't been able to find anything these past few days. Brother Zhang, can I come with you? I promise I'll work extra hard. Just give me a little bit to eat for a few days.”
