The aircraft slowly landed in the city center square. As soon as it touched down, a large number of zombies surged out from the surrounding area. These zombies seemed to sense the presence of living people, became extremely excited, and pounced on the aircraft with bared teeth and claws.
Su Yao struck first, her hands moving swiftly as she unleashed her ice-based powers, sending icicles like sharp blades hurtling towards the zombie horde, instantly freezing the front-line zombies into ice sculptures. Her father roared, activating his power shield and charging into the zombie horde like a fierce lion, each punch sending zombies flying several meters. Her mother, from behind, used her healing powers to protect her father, while simultaneously using her mental energy to sense the surroundings and prevent any mutated creatures from attacking from behind.
During the fierce battle, Su Yao discovered a gigantic mutated zombie king. This zombie king was several meters tall, its muscles bulging, radiating a powerful dark aura. Its eyes flashed with an eerie red light, seemingly possessing a certain degree of intelligence.
"Be careful, this zombie king is no ordinary being!" Su Yao warned her parents. The zombie king roared and pounced on Su Yao. It was incredibly fast and powerful; Su Yao's ice-based attacks only left shallow marks on it.
Su Yao quickly adjusted her tactics, combining her wind and ice abilities to create a powerful ice storm. The ice storm enveloped the zombie king, slowing its movements. The zombie king was forced back by the attack, but it quickly recovered and became even more enraged. It opened its gaping maw and spewed out a stream of black venom. The mother reacted swiftly, using her life-reversal ability to create a purifying barrier, blocking the venom.
“This can’t go on; we have to find its weakness.” Su Yao said, while activating her mental abilities to try and invade the zombie king’s mind. After some effort, Su Yao finally discovered that the zombie king’s weakness was in the core of its head.
"Focus your attack on its head!" Su Yao shouted. The three launched another attack. Su Yao used Flame Blast to attack the zombie king's legs, making it difficult to move. Her father distracted the zombie king, while her mother used her mental power to interfere with its movements. Finally, Su Yao seized the opportunity, conjuring a giant ice spike. With the enhancement of her wind-elemental power, she shot it like an arrow towards the core of the zombie king's head.
With a deafening roar, the Zombie King collapsed. Su Yao stepped forward and retrieved a massive crystal core from its head. This crystal core radiated intense energy fluctuations, far more powerful than any they had ever seen before.
"With this crystal core, our abilities will be greatly enhanced," Su Yao said excitedly. After collecting the crystal core, they continued to explore the city, clearing out the remaining zombies and mutated creatures.
After several days of effort, the city was finally cleared. Su Yao used the system to establish a temporary base in the city, collecting useful supplies and equipment and storing them in her personal space.
Afterwards, they piloted their aircraft to the next dangerous area. Through continuous exploration and battles, Su Yao and her parents' supernatural abilities grew stronger, and their teamwork became increasingly seamless. Meanwhile, they discovered other survivors around the world. With their help, these survivors gradually established new settlements, and human civilization began to slowly revive on these ruins.
