Chapter 292: Flame Tiger Arrives

That woman is the best example of the saying that if you don't do anything, you will die.

Although the ending is the same, dying late is better than dying early. Shangguan Wan didn't know why she wanted to help the little girl when she saw her. Maybe it was because she felt pity for her; she wasn't a kind person. But when she saw the dying little girl, she was moved. If she left her to others, the little girl would inevitably be sold or eaten, but saving her might keep her safe for a while. At least she wouldn't eat her, perhaps because she subconsciously wanted to be a mother, that kind of maternal love.

So they took turns taking care of the little girl along the way, and since none of them had children, they were all unfamiliar with the situation.

In fact, they all found it difficult to understand Shangguan Wan, because when they first joined, Shangguan Wan said that they could not join unless they agreed to join. Now she saved a little girl who was powerless.

Shangguan Wan did not explain to them, because no one could stop her from doing what she wanted to do.

Shangguan Wan and her group continued walking on the road, and saw a few survivors, including men, women, young and old. However, Shangguan Wan only gave them a little help when the zombies attacked them, helped them deal with the zombies in front of them, and then told them about the existence of the base.

The base accepts any survivors and provides them with protection and food, but the prerequisite is that they have a sufficient amount of crystal cores to exchange.

Everyone who understood the situation felt like they had seen a savior, and their drooping spirits were rekindled with hope.

Shangguan Wan didn't tell them the truth: if you weren't an awakened psychic, you couldn't get in, let alone the elderly or children. But now that there was a refugee zone, they could get a little bit of protection and avoid dying at the hands of zombies.

We also encountered many zombies wandering the streets. Now the zombies have begun to migrate towards the base in groups.

Their direction seemed chaotic, but they were actually moving in an orderly manner towards the base, but their speed was slow. Therefore, even if they went back, they might not be able to enter City A for another two months.

They wanted to get rid of these zombies, but they couldn't eliminate them all. The zombies were still increasing in number, and the number of people was still decreasing. This was the elimination rule of human beings, and the mastermind of all this was the day.

It is either a man-made disaster or a natural disaster, a natural disaster that destroys humanity.

Along the way, they stopped and rested, killed zombies, and took crystal cores. They were very busy and had a lot of fun. The harvest was quite considerable.

But Shangguan Wan's eyelids have been twitching a lot lately, as if something was about to happen. Thinking back to her previous life, she seemed to be out on a mission and was not at the base. She had no idea what was going on.

Han Lie had been feeling restless recently, feeling like something big had happened. After a few people sat together and discussed it, they decided it would be safer to go back. Since they had already been out for half a month, it would be safer to go back.

They left without stopping. Before entering City A, Shangguan Wan felt like something was following her car. She could still see figures flash by from time to time.

"Did you see anything?" Shangguan Wan felt that she was making a fuss out of nothing. She didn't feel any danger or threat, but she still asked them, hoping that she might be seeing things.

Shangguan Wan saw that several people were shaking their heads. She thought about it and didn't care. She continued driving, not noticing a mottled figure running through the woods on the side of the road that had been dried up by the strong sunlight. The figure stopped from time to time to catch its breath, but continued to chase, and was less than a few kilometers away from Shangguan Wan's car.

Shangguan Wan saw that it was very late, so she stopped the car temporarily in the mountains. They would enter City A the next day, so there was no rush to stay the night. So they parked the Hummer in an open space and took out the RV to rest and eat.

"Who?" Shangguan Wan and Han Lie looked at each other sternly, and then everyone became alert. When that figure appeared in front of Shangguan Wan, everyone did not breathe a sigh of relief but became nervous.

Because what came was not a zombie, but a panting and injured tiger. When the tiger lay weakly on the ground, Shangguan Wan walked to the tiger first and stroked its head, because this was not another tiger but Shangguan Wan's pet Flame Tiger who had been with her for nearly two years.

The flame tiger's fur was tightly clung together, stained with black and red blood. The color of its fur was dyed a mottled color, and the color of its own mottled pattern was even more mottled. Its front paws, once sharp, were now worn smooth, and the paws were still oozing blood. The flame tiger licked the paws with its prickly tongue.

"But something happened." Shangguan Wan pinched the Flame Tiger's right paw with her right hand and used her healing ability to heal the wound on its paw. She asked in a cold tone.

Flame Tiger sobbed softly, lowered its head and walked around Han Lie, Gu Ying and the others, then sat on the ground and rolled around, as if someone was torturing it.

Shangguan Wan immediately understood that something had happened to their family.
