Chapter 386: Homecoming

Han Lie, having collected all the necessary supplies, now thought about Shangguan Wan. If she got pregnant, she would definitely need an ultrasound or something. He would have to equip her with all that stuff. Although Shangguan Wan had emptied out the medical equipment last time, what if it didn't have what she needed? He should find a maternity hospital to get all the supplies. If he could find an obstetrician and gynecologist, that would be even better. Thinking of Qi Ran's pain during childbirth, he felt a pang of pity. He didn't want her to suffer. But he still wanted a little one who looked like both of them, by his side, calling him daddy and her mommy. When everything was fine, he could hold her in his arms and enjoy the joy of being a family.

Han Lie thought about this and started looking for the maternity hospital, wondering if he should move all the useful things from the maternity hospital. Anyway, he still subconsciously thought that it would be better not to use them, because it was better not to explain.

Han Lie and his team swept through the streets before finding the maternity hospital. Arriving at the hospital entrance, Han Lie felt it was eerie, as hospitals were the first places to be infected. Many people were sent to the hospital after developing a fever, and the hospital was 100% virus-free; no one could escape.

The hospital was completely silent. After what had just happened, Han Lie used his mental power to investigate the hospital and found no signs of zombie activity. He then led Lone Eagle and the others inside.

But as soon as I entered, I immediately felt uncomfortable. The blue and white walls of the entire hospital were covered with blood, which had been imprinted on the walls. This place was like a murder scene. The whole hospital was filled with blood. There was a large number of corpses lying on the ground, with their limbs separated and their stomachs and intestines spilling out. They were dried up like dried skin and wrinkled. The only thing was the smell, which made me want to vomit.

Han Lie and the others pursed their lips, and it was obvious that they were trying hard to hold back.

"If these things are not burned, they may turn into a plague. Let's burn them before we leave." Han Lie said slowly, holding his breath.

"Hmm" everyone mumbled because the smell was so bad.

There was only a tiny bit of open space on the ground where one could step. The entire hospital, three stories high, stretched from the door to the stairwell, a blanket of rust. Red mixed with dark yellow, with black mold around the edges of the bloodstains. When these molds fermented, the plague would spread. Han Lie wondered if he left this alone. Perhaps in a year or two, they wouldn't be fighting zombies, but a plague. Zombies were still physical entities, and the plague was directly transmitted through the air. Unless they couldn't breathe, but that was impossible. He still had to eliminate the danger at the very beginning.

Han Lie and his team accurately entered the obstetrics and gynecology department, collected all the instruments inside, put them into the space ring, and then left there quickly.

After they left, thick black smoke billowed from the hospital, and the entire hospital was engulfed in flames, burning corpses and stopping the plague. Buildings can be rebuilt if they are destroyed, but when people are gone, everything is gone.

Han Lie rushed back as soon as he prepared his things. He felt like he was going home. They had only been apart for half a day, but he didn't expect that he missed her so much.

As soon as they got in the car, they sped up to a flying speed and drove recklessly towards the base. There was no telling how many zombies died under the tires along the way, but they deserved to die.

In order to stop Han Lie from returning home, they could only endure the punishment of being knocked away or broken into pieces.

When Han Lie arrived at the gate of the base, he rushed through the group of zombies without any pause. After rushing straight forward, the Hummer drifted and threw the zombies at the gate of the base out. After the gate opened, Han Lie turned the steering wheel and quickly entered the base. Without taking a breath, he drove directly to the door of the villa.

Only then did he stand still at the door, hesitating whether to go in. His hands were sweaty from nervousness. He didn't know whether Shangguan Wan would want the child after she knew he was pregnant.

If she doesn't want it, then what should I do?
