A mellow and loud roar made all the wolves stare at him, and then the wolves bared their fangs and roared "Awooo" in the direction of Han Lie.
All the wolves quickly gathered together.
It seemed this was their way of communicating, which made it easier for Lone Eagle. He quickly moved his hands toward the wolves, one low and one high, surrounding the entire pack with a wall of earth.
But the huge wolf pack was not so easy to be trapped. Several of the wolves curled up their front legs and pushed the ground with their hind legs, lifted their front legs, and used their hind legs to jump out from the wall which was just one person high, and landed steadily outside the wall. There was also a wolf with a body as big as an ox that just hit the wall next to it. There was a loud bang, dust flew up, and then the wolves inside began to run around wildly as if they were liberated.
They bit countless zombies to death and knocked many zombies away, playing with zombies like rabbits as if they were catching prey. Even though they were infected, their wolf habits still existed, and they would throw away the zombies they killed with one bite along the way.
If zombies could talk, I would definitely ask them, weren't they here to attack? Why were they attacking them?
Han Lie stared at the mutant wolves that began to run wildly, worrying that they would escape. However, his worry was obviously unnecessary, because the wolves that were running wildly suddenly turned around and headed straight for them.
A group of huge red wolves rushed towards the gate of the base, banging their heads against the gate again and again, making the gate creak.
There were also two large wolves standing in the corner directly below Han Lie, as if waiting for something. Han Lie looked at the wolf with a faint glow in its eyes not far away, its front legs digging into the ground, and only one ear on its bloody head that was pointed towards the sky was shaking slightly. Then it raised its head towards the open space and made a hissing sound through its nose. Han Lie understood why it did this: it wanted to use the bodies of the two wolves below to jump over the outer wall of the base and then attack them.
Sure enough, Han Lie saw with his own eyes that the wolf ran at top speed towards where the two wolves were standing. When it was about to reach the bodies of the two wolves side by side, it made a series of jumps, the first landing on the two wolves, but the second landing was when its hind paws touched the wall for support as it flew into the air.
Even the highest wall could be easily breached with the wolf's help. As the wolf was about to reach the platform on the observation deck, Han Lie calmly watched the soaring wolf, not in the least afraid. After carefully checking its speed, he unleashed his thunderbolt directly onto the wolf as it leaped toward the observation deck. With a loud rumble, a gray shadow descended from midair, gleaming brightly. Then, the wolf, which had been soaring just moments before, suddenly fell from the sky like a kite with its string cut.
The already blurry head had now moved, and the headless wolf fell limply to the ground. Its entire red body suddenly shrank, rapidly returning to its original form, from the size of a rhino to the size of a normal wolf. However, the black blood seemed to flow endlessly, continuously flowing from the wolf's body until the last drop was drained. The black blood emitted a strong smell of blood and the stench of decaying corpses.
However, the blood did not flow along the ground like water, but solidified into a large solid mass, which looked like a black spot on the ground when viewed from above.
"Everyone, kill them all." Han Lie's mellow voice was filled with shocking strength and determination.
"yes"
Standing in the corridor above the base's wall were all men in camouflage short-sleeved shirts, their assault rifles slung across their chests. Upon hearing Han Lie's command, they all moved in unison, their left hands supporting their rifles, their right hands pulling the trigger, their heads leaning against their guns as they watched the wolves in the distance. From the moment they picked up their guns, their eyes were like those of hawks, fixed intently on the wolves scurrying about below.
"Open fire!" Han Lie gave the order.
"Bang, bang, bang..." Gunshots rang out as the sound fell. Familiar voices, familiar movements, but a different picture.
Under the entire base, when the rotating bullets passed through the wolves' bodies, black blood flowed out from behind, leaving black marks on their red skin. Some wolves were hit directly in the head, while some were shot into sieves. The black blood spread on the ground, but it just wouldn't melt. Han Lie's eyes flashed slightly, and he thought about telling Mr. Xu about this situation and letting them analyze it.
This wasn't just a simple lack of fusion, but rather the fact that each wolf's blood didn't blend with the others. This was strange. It wasn't that the virus engulfed all blood cells, but why didn't the infected blood engulf them? There had to be something wrong.
Han Lie didn't know how big a breakthrough this question would bring to Mr. Xu and the others.
