Chapter 444: Talking Zombies

Han Lie and the other eight people stood in a circle. This was the most powerful protection. They were putting their backs in the hands of their brothers. It was also a form of resistance against zombies. The impeccable circle was the force of their advancement and an indestructible wall.

The zombies sensed the location of Han Lie and his men, and immediately gave up attacking the vehicle, turning around and starting to rush towards them.

The zombies swarmed in darkness, their bodies stiff and wobbly as they walked. Bones could be seen in their swinging arms. Some were completely disfigured, with only bones hanging from their necks, the flesh completely gone, leaving only a white trachea. Others were half-naked, their stomachs bitten open, with spaces visible for hearts, but still, their hearts still resting there. Others clutched a piece of meat, constantly putting it into their mouths as if chewing something delicious.

But Lone Eagle and his men knew that those were the remains of their comrades, so they treated them like this.

Lone Eagle clenched his hands tightly together, and then looked at the zombie who was still enjoying the food. He could no longer bear it, and stabbed countless hybrid knives in his hand directly into the head of the zombie who was still opening his mouth and biting the meat.

"Kill~" Han Lie had reached a point where he could no longer accept it, and his deep voice was chilling to the bone.

He exuded a pressure several times stronger than usual. When he looked at the zombies opposite, his mental power was immediately released. He glanced at the zombies around him and controlled them with his mental power, "Protect us, form a circle, and break the necks of the zombies that come over." This was the order Han Lie gave to the zombies he controlled.

The zombies formed two circles and started a fight between zombies.

Whenever they were about to get close to the controlled zombies, Han Lie controlled them to raise their hands, grab the neck of the zombie in front of them, and twist it to the left. With a click, the sound of broken bones was heard. Then this sound was heard all around Han Lie and the others, and it basically never stopped. Their circle became very large because of the addition of zombies. Even if they controlled the zombies, they were still at a distance from them. No one could be sure whether they would wake up and return to their zombie nature.

Suddenly, they had a breakthrough in the middle, and a zombie tore three zombies apart with his bare hands.

The whole process was so simple and so bloody. The zombie grabbed the shoulders of the zombie in front of him with both hands, one hand on the head and the other hand on the shoulder, and tore the zombie apart alive.

The zombie's body was split into two, and even the strongest skeleton was torn apart.

Black blood was still flowing from the separated half of the body, dripping onto the ground and condensing together.

"Everyone be careful." Han Lie looked at the zombies appearing opposite him vigilantly. It had only been one day since they saw him, but he didn't expect that the endings were all different. Yesterday, when Shangguan Wan was about to give birth, he helped her leave, but today she was fighting against him. Well, good and evil cannot coexist since ancient times, not to mention that he must die.

"Where's she?" The sudden, rough voice attracted everyone's attention.

Han Lie and the others looked at the zombie opposite in disbelief, and naturally quickly understood who he was talking about.

"Can you speak?" Han Lie answered the question irrelevantly.

The "natural" and smooth conversation without pauses made their hearts hang in the balance.

"Where is she?" he asked again, obviously impatient.

"She just gave birth and is resting. I don't understand, do you know her? Why did she help us yesterday and fight us today?" Han Lie glanced at the situation around him that was still under control, wanting to get some answers from this zombie.

"Not only... I know her, I also know that she... has been reborn."

This sentence was like a thunderbolt that shocked Han Lie, leaving him at a loss. His heart was already beating like a drum of war, but his face remained calm.

"You too?" Han Lie asked directly.

"Yes, so...we are the same kind of people." She could only stand on his side. She was also a strong person, so she had to stand on his side. If they really wanted to fight, the two of them would be evenly matched. So this was also the reason why he let Shangguan Wan go back.

He just wants to take over the world, but if she stands on his side, it will be a help to him, but if she stands on the other side, it will be a hindrance to him.
