Shangguan Wan didn't say a word after that and completely followed Han Lie's instructions.
"Should we save him or not? I want to hear everyone's opinions." Han Lie felt that this matter was not something he could decide on his own, after all, there were so many brothers involved.
"Boss, if they turn against us after we rescue them, we will be in a difficult position."
"If they make some unusual moves, we can't guarantee that we won't get into trouble,"
"Another point is that they might all be desperate criminals. If we rescue them now, what if they threaten the people in the base? We can't always have people watching them. No one knows when they might rebel, and then it would be the people in the base who would be in danger."
"But aren't we here to save people? Haven't we always been responsible for not caring about the elderly and children? How can they be considered inhuman? As long as they are willing to change, we can give them a chance. We can't just watch them die here."
"We can negotiate terms with them. We won't provide them with protection, but only with food. All they have to do is to make the base unsafe, or we'll feed them to the zombies."
After one of them finished speaking, everyone looked at him, thinking about something.
"Or we can get in touch with the people inside first and see what they decide. Those who obey me will live, and those who disobey me will die. It depends on whether they choose to live or die." A storm flashed in Han Lie's eyes, but it disappeared in an instant.
"Okay," everyone said
Shangguan Wan and the others quickly got in the car and drove towards the prison. In less than half an hour, Han Lie's Hummer could already see the zombies behind him. Many zombies were pushing and shoving towards the prison gate, trying to break through.
The person standing on the watchtower immediately saw the convoy that appeared behind the zombies. The confused eyes of the person standing on it suddenly flashed with light, and he immediately took off his shirt and waved at the zombies, shouting, "We have people here, hi, there are people here, hello!"
In fact, several people in the car had seen his actions early in the morning. They looked at each other and knew that they actually wanted to survive more, so when they saw the convoy now, they just took it as a given.
The man seemed to be afraid that Han Lie and the others would drive away, and shouted something to the people below. Shangguan Wan used her mental power to watch the situation inside the wall. When the man above shouted, the people inside all stood up and ran to the observation deck. In particular, a few people ran up quickly and stood in the most conspicuous place. They also took off their shirts and waved them to attract the attention of the convoy.
Shangguan Wan narrowed her eyes. "Let them beg us first, and then we'll decide whether to save them or not. That way, they won't have the leverage to bargain with us. If they want us to surrender, they'll have to comply with our terms. Otherwise, we'll just drive away."
"Okay." Han Lie and Dongfang Shuo both nodded, and they felt more and more that Shangguan Wan was a little bit sinister now.
Han Lie deliberately parked the car at the back of the zombies and didn't get out. He just watched the people in it anxiously.
The noise of the car attracted many zombies to rush towards their car. Han Lie was not worried at all. The car slowly slid forward, pushing the zombies in front of it backwards.
When the people above saw the car stop, their hearts skipped a beat, thinking that it was another person who had escaped. However, when they saw the car sliding away, their hope for life was rekindled.
Looking at the huge convoy walking among the zombies, they couldn't help but feel the hope of life and envy of freedom in their eyes. They had been trapped in here for a long time, so long that they didn't even know who they were.
When they saw the zombies surrounding the Hummer, everyone on board thought that Han Lie and his men were doomed. After all, with so many zombies, one car was no match for them.
But what they didn't expect was that the car at the very beginning didn't even get out of the car, it just kept on driving, smashing through the zombies and then turning the driver's seat close to the door. The zombies at the door were directly hit, crushed, or stabbed to death by the Hummer. The entire Hummer was covered in black blood.
"Hey hey hey" There was a small hole on the prison gate, revealing a pair of eyes, shouting directly at Han Lie through the glass.
Han Lie rolled down the car window and looked through the small holes in the wire mesh at the pair of eyes that asked "Is there something wrong?" with indifference and cold words, as if he didn't care at all about the living person.
The man saw Han Lie's green outfit through the car window, his face changed slightly, and he avoided looking at Han Lie. He said something to the person behind him and got out. Then, a man with deep eyes came to talk to Han Lie.
When the man saw Han Lie, his pupils obviously constricted, then he thought of something, regained his composure, and talked to Han Lie generously.
"Hello Han Lie, I didn't expect that we would meet in this way~" the owner of those eyes said coldly, with a hint of sarcasm.
Han Lie looked at the eyes and felt that they were very familiar but he couldn't remember who they were. However, as soon as the voice came out, Han Lie knew that this was the person he had arrested before.
"So?" Han Lie replied indifferently.
The man obviously hadn't expected Han Lie to say that. His indifferent tone made him unsure how to respond, but he didn't forget his own situation and what he had to do.
