Chapter 35 Framed Gu Feng

Gu Feng hurried to the team. Fan Yao was crying loudly, her clothes were in disarray. One could imagine how fierce the battle was at that time.

Seeing Gu Feng coming, Fan Yao cried even harder. "He is the village chief. He made Er Gouzi treat me like that. My life is over."

"You two have no grudge against each other, why would Gu Feng treat you like this?" Now that everyone is together, the village chief asked.

"Because of Lu Wanwan, someone disrupted the wedding yesterday. She thought that person was instigated by me, so she is seeking revenge for Lu Wanwan." Although no one knew about what happened yesterday, the girl kept shouting on the road that it was her cousin Fan Yao who instigated it.

"Why are you going to the village entrance alone?" asked the village chief.

"There are not many people coming and going at the village entrance. Which girl would dare to go there alone?" the villagers echoed.

"I went to see my aunt and uncle off. Gu Feng and Sister Wanwan were there at the time."

"Then can you tell me what happened?" asked the village chief.

"After sending my aunt and uncle away, I explained yesterday's events to Sister Wanwan. I said that yesterday's events had nothing to do with me. I just happened to run into them talking about Gu Feng that day, and I went up to them and said a few words. I didn't expect her to do something like that."

"But Sister Wanwan didn't believe me. She said she would stay away from me and that I wouldn't ask her to forgive me. Later, Sister got angry and ignored me and left."

"At this time, Ergouzi came over, greeted Gu Feng and asked what happened?" Fan Yao said while crying.

"Gu Feng asked Er Gouzi to teach me a lesson, and then he went after Sister Wan Wan, leaving me to Er Gouzi. Then all those things happened... Woohoo, what should I do? How am I going to live from now on?"

She probably made up this story so much that she believed it herself. If they hadn't experienced it themselves, they would have believed it. This girl is so amazing. No wonder Wanwan got into trouble last time.

Gu Feng and Er Gouzi were dumbfounded. How could this be possible? How could they know nothing and even add drama to themselves?

"Ergou, why do you say that?" You can't just listen to what one person says, you still have to ask others.

"Village head, I haven't seen Gu Feng today. I was strolling at the village entrance when I saw Fan Zhiqing standing there in a daze. I asked her what was wrong, and she tearfully said someone was bullying her. I wanted to comfort her..."

"Is that how you coax people?" asked the village chief.

"He hugged me and cried like that, saying that he was wronged. I felt sorry for him and couldn't help it." Anyway, she kept crying and begging for mercy at that time, and she cried in the same way.

No one is Liu Xiahui. If a delicate girl cries in your arms, the nature of the matter will be easy to deal with.

"Gu Feng, you can also tell me something?" the village chief continued.

"I really haven't seen Er Gouzi. Wan Wan and I left together. We left right after my father-in-law and mother-in-law left. As for whether she left without noticing at the time, she left."

"They are both lying. You are from the same village, so you will definitely help each other. I am alone, who will take charge of me? How should I live in the future?" It started again.

"Wanwan and I left together. We were having fun along the way, and Wanwan didn't leave early." Gu Feng defended himself.

"I really didn't see Gu Feng. When I went there, there was no one there except Fan Zhiqing." Ergouzi was also anxious.

"Who can prove that you guys were playing around all the way? Who can prove that you haven't seen anyone?" Fan Yao was sure that it would be hard to see anyone on the road at this time.

"Judging from the time you were discovered, we met you two at least half an hour after we left. We couldn't have stayed there that long."

They were found at around 2:00 in the afternoon. Excluding the time for that, it was indeed half an hour after they left when they met. They couldn't have stayed there all the time unless something happened, but people insisted that you were there and you couldn't explain it clearly.

This was very difficult, as reasoning needed to be supported by evidence. Both sides argued endlessly, and the village chief was unable to make a decision, so the situation remained deadlocked. Gu Feng did not pay attention to whether he met anyone on the road, and could only pray that someone who saw him would be kind enough to testify for him.

As it was getting darker, Gu Feng still hadn't come back. Gu's mother was very anxious. Lu Wanwan also woke up. Since Gu Feng was not there, she thought he had gone out for something. As it was getting dark, he still hadn't come back.

"Mom, have you seen Gu Feng? I didn't see him when I woke up. Where did he go?" Lu Wanwan asked.

"He said he went out for something, and I don't know the details." I was afraid of this. Gu's mother couldn't speak, so how could she lie to Lu Wanwan? Lu Wanwan became even more anxious. Something must have happened to Gu Feng.

"Mom, did something happen to Gu Feng? What happened?"

Seeing that Lu Wanwan was crying anxiously, Gu's mother knew that she could no longer hide it. If she didn't come back at night, she would probably know about it, so she had to tell Lu Wanwan the truth.

After hearing this, Lu Wanwan hated Fan Yao to death. How could she wrongly accuse Gu Feng? Men are never right in such matters, and few people would listen to a man's explanation.

"Mom, I'll go check it out. When we were coming back, we passed by where I live and met three kids around ten years old. They were secretly laughing at us, but I don't know who they are. I'll go ask Gu Feng, he's sure he knows them."

"Gu Feng said he was playing with you all the way and didn't notice anyone was around. He probably didn't know."

"What should I do? Should I get to know more people?" Lu Wanwan was also anxious. She was originally very calm.

"Give me a rough description and I'll see if I can match it up." There are only a few children in the village, so there is still some hope.

"Mom, I have seen two people who left a deep impression on me. One is fat, with small eyes, and his clothes are decent. He loves to laugh. The other one is thin, with a round face and big eyes. He is very cute." Lu Wanwan said briefly, and she didn't pay much attention to the others.
