As Ryan slowly entered the arena, the enthusiasm of the audience instantly reached a climax, with cheers coming one after another in the duel arena.
"Master Damon, come on, defeat this scoundrel who has defiled all the goddesses in our academy."
"Come on, Master Damon. Goddess Sofia is watching you."
"Master Damon, you are so handsome. I want to marry you."
The field was filled with shouts of support for Damon.
Among them are many people hired by the Mick family and civilians who were deceived and followed the trend.
Although the Grey family also found many people to help them, not many people believed them because of Ryan's past evil deeds.
The voices supporting Ryan were quickly drowned out by those supporting Damon.
Damon looked at the yawning Ryan who slowly entered the arena, and sneered with a tired look.
"Ryan, if you're scared, why bother coming here and embarrassing yourself by dilly-dallying?"
Hearing this, Ryan looked at Damon, who had been baked in the scorching sun for a long time, with amusement.
"Haha, I'm right about you being a jerk. I, Ryan, booked it for noon, but when did you say what time it was?"
"How rude! You have no noble manners at all. You're full of filthy words. You will definitely lose tomorrow."
Ryan was too lazy to pay attention to him. He hated it most when others used these aristocratic etiquette to pressure him.
Just as the two were confronting each other and threatening each other, an assistant professor from the academy came over with a group of people carrying a batch of weapons and equipment.
The teaching assistant came between the two of them.
"Master Damon, Master Ryan, you two can consider letting me keep your magic rings. If you are worried, you don't have to use them."
"However, if you take out an item from the magic ring during a duel, you will immediately lose."
Ryan and Damon both shook their heads to indicate that it was not necessary. The assistant instructor also nodded to indicate that he understood, and then pointed to the weapons and equipment rack on the side and said.
"Then please choose your equipment and weapons."
Soon, the two of them had selected their equipment from a pile of shelves.
Looking at the equipment Damon selected, Ryan's mentor Jonah frowned and asked the dean in confusion.
"Dean, when did our academy get Forbidden Magic Stone equipment? This is unfair to Ryan."
Jonah had studied the Forbidden Magic Stone the most deeply, and therefore was the one who sensed something was wrong the fastest.
The other magicians beside Jonah also gradually felt the magic-forbidden stone and expressed their protest.
"Yes, the Forbidden Magic Stone is so restraining to us magicians. This duel is so unfair."
"Dean, please say something."
The dean did not speak, but looked at his secretary Jenny beside him in confusion.
He also didn't know why there were forbidden magic stone equipment in the academy.
Jenny looked through the information in her hand, was suddenly shocked, and whispered something into the dean's ear.
Cliff's face suddenly turned gloomy. Before Cliff could speak, Brent from Mick's family spoke.
"Everyone, this doesn't violate the rules of the duel. The rules of the duel are: only weapons and equipment owned by the academy are allowed to be used in combat. The academy has forbidden magic stone equipment, so why can't Damon use it?"
Dean Cliff frowned and said to the magicians present.
"Everyone, I just found out that the academy was gifted a batch of equipment containing Forbidden Magic Stone Powder last night, and the gifter was..."
Cliff looked at the man who had just spoken.
"Mick's house: Brent."
Cliff was very disgusted with Brandt's behavior. The older generation also wanted to intervene in the duel between the younger generation. He really had been living a dog's life for so many years.
"Bang!"
When Ford heard this, he immediately stood up and smashed the chair he was sitting on.
"Brandt, are you looking for death? Are you using these conspiracies and tricks on your own people every day?"
Ford stared at Brandt with full force, as if he was going to fight him till the end if he didn't explain clearly.
Ryan lost to Ford because of his lack of strength, but he must not lose because of other people's conspiracy and tricks.
Brandt faced the gazes of Ford, the dean, and a group of mages. As a fifth-level warrior, cold sweat broke out on his forehead, but he still forced himself to speak.
"Everyone, I didn't break any rules. The Mick family did give the academy a batch of forbidden magic stone equipment, but which law stipulates that the Mick family cannot give equipment to the academy?"
"And the academy has forbidden magic stone equipment, so why can't Damon use it?"
Everyone was speechless.
