Chapter 139: Finally Meeting Greta (2/2)

"You and Greta are in direct contact in this Purple Gem City. Do you know her address?"

Miguel, who was standing nearby, nodded.

"I know, Lord Ryan. Miss Greta placed an order for another batch of purple gemstones from me some time ago. The address is No. 21, Villa on Cat's Eye Street."

"Do you need me to take you across now?"

Listening to Miguel's question, Ryan pondered for a moment and nodded.

"Okay, then take me to have a look."

Miguel nodded and then took Ryan and the others out of the building. After more than ten minutes, he brought Ryan to Greta's villa.

"Lord Ryan, this courtyard is where Miss Greta lives."

Ryan looked in the direction of Miguel's finger and nodded.

Then Miguel took Ryan and knocked on the gate of the villa.

Soon, a girl with a yellowish complexion and dressed like a peasant opened the door.

The girl's pupils shrank slightly when she saw Ryan behind Miguel.

He still looked at Miguel without changing his expression.

"Deputy Captain Miguel, is there anything you want to talk to me about?"

Miguel smiled slightly, moved aside, and began to introduce Ryan behind him.

"Miss Greta, this is Master Ryan, the one who saved Purple Gem City from danger last night."

Greta bowed slightly to Ryan.

"I am Lord Ryan. Thank you very much for your generosity. The people of Purple Sapphire City are indebted to you for this great favor."

Greta's voice sounded familiar to Ryan, but he didn't think too much about it and just smiled and said.

"Miss Greta, won't you invite us in for a seat?"

Listening to Ryan's words, Greta stood there thinking for a while, as if she had figured something out, and then opened the door.

"Of course, Lord Ren, please come in."

As Ryan walked into the courtyard, a little girl in yellow clothes walked out of Greta's room. It was Ais.

"Sister Greta, I'm hungry again..."

Before she could finish her words, she saw the figures of Ryan and his group, and the next moment she hid behind Greta.

Greta smiled at Ryan when she saw this.

"This is my sister Ai Si. She's a little shy, so please excuse me. Everyone, please go inside first. I'll prepare some food for her."

After saying that, Greta took Ais into another room.

Ryan and Lucifer looked at Ai Si and the others, their eyes full of confusion.

Ryan didn't detect any unique "human" aura in Ais, and neither did Lucifer.

The man didn't say much and kept his doubts in his heart.

Then Ryan took a few people into the room that Greta had just pointed out to him, and sat on the chair in the room waiting for Greta to come.

A few minutes later Greta returned to the room.

Seeing that Ryan had been brought here, Miguel also wanted to create an environment for Ryan to be alone, so he stood up from his seat.

"I suddenly remembered that there seems to be something else going on in the Guards. Miss Greta, I'll take my leave first. You guys can chat."

Greta didn't stop him when she saw this. After all, what she wanted to say later needed to be discussed with Ryan alone, so it was better for Miguel to leave now.

Greta picked up the teapot on the table and poured a few cups of tea for Ryan and the others, then chatted with a smile.

"The heroic deeds of Lord Ryan and his companions yesterday have spread throughout the Purple Gem City."

Ryan took the teacup and took a sip.

"I was very disappointed when I heard that you had passed away, Miss Greta. I thought it was a great regret in my life that I had never seen you dance."

"I didn't expect you to live in seclusion in Purple Sapphire City."

Greta looked at him with some reminiscence in her eyes when she heard this.

"Hey, that was a few years ago."
