Chapter 186 Ryan's Regret (2/2)

"Master Ryan, someone from the Mitchell family wants to see you. It seems they want to invite you to visit the Mitchell family. Do you want to go? If you don't want to go, I can help you decline."

Ryan looked back at Jonas. Jonas, who was half gone, was still wearing a tuxedo as usual, looking full of energy.

"Mitchell family? No, I just went over there. I haven't seen Anna for a long time."

"Okay, the Mitchell family is just outside the manor, you can just go over there."

After saying this, Jonas disappeared in a flash, apparently to deal with other matters.

Sitting in the Mitchell family's carriage, Ryan soon arrived at the Mitchell family's manor.

As soon as Ryan got off the carriage, he looked at Anna.

After not seeing her for half a day, Anna hasn't changed much.

Still small and slender.

However, his strength was such that he was successfully promoted to a second-level advanced warrior.

Watching Ryan get off the carriage, Anna skipped to Ryan's side like a happy little deer.

"Ryan, are you missing me out there?"

Ryan touched Anna's smooth hair and said, "Of course, the person I miss most outside is my little Anna."

Feeling Ryan's movements, Anna raised the corners of her mouth and her eyes became brighter.

Then Anna took Ryan's hand and took Ryan to the Mitchell family's manor.

"Qianqian, Ryan, my father is at the martial arts training ground. I'll take you there."

Anna held Ryan's hand and strode forward, not avoiding the gazes of the servants beside her.

Arriving at the martial arts arena, a group of thirteen or fourteen-year-old girls from the Mitchell family's side branches were training there.

Lehmann was watching them from the side.

Suddenly, Lehman caught sight of Anna and Ryan out of the corner of his eye, and his serious and tense face gradually relaxed.

He nodded to the Knight Commander who was training the young men, and the Knight Commander ordered the young men to rest for a while.

As the boys and girls dispersed to rest, Anna brought Ryan to Lehman's side.

Lehman looked at Ryan and patted Ryan on the shoulder.

"I haven't seen you for half a day, Ryan, you're already at level three? Not bad."

Lehman took Ryan and the other man to a chair nearby and said, "Sit down."

Ryan nodded and sat down.

The maid standing nearby came to the table and poured a cup of tea for Lehman and Ryan.

"Have you told Ford and Ryan about your relationship with Anna?" Lehman asked.

Listening to her father's question, Anna, who was sitting next to Ryan, felt a pang in her heart and was very nervous about Ryan's next answer.

Looking at Anna's nervous expression, Ryan smiled and nodded.

"Well, my father told me that I like Anna, and after my marriage to Caroline is over, I will start preparing to marry Anna."

Hearing Ryan's answer, Anna felt relieved and her face flushed.

"Hmph~ Then you better hurry up, because I have a lot of people chasing me." Anna pouted slightly.

Ryan was not surprised by Anna's arrogant answer. On the contrary, he liked Anna's arrogant look.

"well."

Suddenly, Ryan saw something and froze in his tracks.

Memories flashed through his eyes, and he gave two bitter smiles, which eventually turned into a helpless sigh.

Ryan's expression was caught by Lehman and Anna, and Lehman was confused.

What's going on?

He saw a lot of regret in Ryan's eyes.

"Ryan? What's wrong?" Lehman asked.

Lehman's question brought Ryan back to his senses and he smiled freely.

"Nothing... I just thought of something, something I deeply regret, but something I can't change."
