Chapter 412: Ancient Books of the First Lord of Silver Moon Territory (2/2)

Ryan spread his hands and sighed, "I don't know. Most of the ancient books Chris left behind are praises of you. I've read so much of it, I'm almost brainwashed..."

"I can only hope that the remaining ancient books will reveal some of the events of that time."

Goddess Qingyue nodded, "This is the only way."

Ryan stood up and stretched his stiff body, his bones making crackling sounds all over.

Then he walked towards the big bed.

The next morning, not-so-bright sunlight shone into Ryan's room from the floor-to-ceiling window, gently caressing Ryan's face.

Feeling the warmth and brightness on his face, Ryan slowly woke up.

Looking at the jade-white dome of the room, Ryan got up from the bed.

Today he needed to teach Doris how to construct a sacrificial array. The sacrificial array he had was rather complicated, and he had no experience in teaching others, so he was not sure how much of the sacrificial array Doris could understand today.

Ryan walked to the door, put on his boots, and pushed it open.

"Lord Ryan, good morning. Breakfast is ready for you. Would you like to eat in your room or go to the restaurant?" The maid who had been waiting outside the door bowed slightly to Ryan.

Ryan nodded, "Let's go to the restaurant."

"Yes, sir, please follow me." The maid bowed again and then stood in front to lead Ryan.

It was still the place where Ryan and Doris had dinner last night, but this time Ryan was alone.

Not long after Ryan sat down, several maids brought breakfast.

The waitress who had just brought Ryan to the restaurant spoke.

"Lord Ryan, during Lady Dahlia's time in your territory, I noticed that you prefer a lighter breakfast. Therefore, I have specially instructed the chef to prepare breakfast for you. I hope it suits your taste."

Ryan glanced at the breakfast on the table, nodded and smiled, "That's thoughtful."

"As long as you are satisfied." The maid saluted and stood behind Ryan's chair.

Ryan quickly finished the breakfast on the table. At the same time Ryan finished his breakfast, Doris walked into the restaurant.

The maid beside her saluted quickly to Doris, "Master Ling."

Doris waved to the maids and came to Ryan with a smile.

"Did Lord Ryan have a good rest last night?"

Ryan wiped the milk from the corner of his mouth with a napkin and nodded. "Very good. Much more comfortable than the bed in my Bluebird Territory."

Doris pursed her lips and smiled. "Haha, if Lord Ryan likes, you can take a few beds with you when you leave."

Ryan stood up from his chair and said, "We'll talk about it then. Yesterday I promised Doris Leader that I would teach you the sacrificial array. Doris Leader, do you have time now?"

Doris nodded. She chose the right time to find Ryan just to learn the sacrificial array from him.

"Master Ryan, come with me. There is an open space in the backyard. It is relatively quiet there. It is also where I practice magic every day."

After saying that, Doris led the way and soon brought Ryan to the backyard of the castle.

"Lord Ryan, how is it here?" Doris said with a smile.

Ryan glanced at the surroundings, nodded and said.

"Captain Doris, I will first construct a sacrificial array in the air to give you a general understanding of it."

After saying that, Ryan lightly tapped his fingers, and dark golden magic power surged out of his body, gradually constructing an extremely complex sacrificial magic circle in the air.
