Ryan nodded and continued following the guard's words, "Well, I have a treasure I want to auction."
Upon hearing this, the guard took Ryan into the Red Lion Auction House, led Ryan to a door, and spoke.
"Sir, this is where I identify the quality of treasures. I still need to guard the gate, so you can enter on your own."
The guard said this and bowed slightly to Ryan before leaving.
Ryan knocked on the door, then pushed it open and walked in.
Entering the room, what caught his eye was a medieval retro-style room filled with ceremonial items that Ryan was unfamiliar with.
Behind the table and chairs in the middle of the room, an old monk was sitting on a chair, writing something in the sunlight coming in through the window behind him.
The old man was wearing the black and red uniform of the Red Lion Auction House. Although he had white hair at the temples, he had an upright posture and was extremely energetic.
Seeing Ryan push the door and walk in, the old man smiled at Ryan.
"Hello, I'm Ludovico, an appraiser from the Red Lion Auction House. You're here to identify treasures, right? Please take a seat." The old man pointed to the chair opposite him.
Ryan sat on the chair and took out a jade box from the magic box. The jade box contained a rank II treasure that he had just exchanged in the Book of Natural History.
The treasure is of average rarity, but rarer than ordinary 㫦-level treasures.
After all, his purpose was not to auction the treasure, but to get an invitation by sending the treasure for auction.
Ludovico took out two white gloves from the cabinet and put them on. He then took Ryan's jade box in front of him and opened it.
Looking at the second-level treasure in the jade box, a hint of surprise flashed in Ludovico's eyes.
Then he began to identify the treasures in the jade box.
Half an hour later, Ludovico closed the lid of the jade box and smiled.
"Your Excellency's treasure is very good. Its medicinal properties are the best preserved among all the 2nd-grade treasures I have ever seen in my life."
"My current estimated value is 7,000 Mist Coins. Through the auction, it could reach around 9,000 to 10,000 Mist Coins. I wonder if your Excellency would be satisfied?"
Ryan nodded. "Yeah, that's what I expected. Then let's auction it off at the Red Lion Auction House."
Ludovico put away the jade box and said with a smile, "Thank you for your trust, my lord. The Red Lion Auction House will not let you down."
After saying that, Ludovico labeled Ryan's jade box, then handed Ryan a jade token and said.
"Sir, this is your auction receipt. Once the auction is over, use this receipt to claim the Mist Coins."
Ryan nodded and accepted it, then asked.
"Could you please give me a copy of the invitation from the Red Lion Auction House?"
When Ludovico heard this, his brows furrowed slightly and his face looked a little embarrassed.
"Sir, this is not my responsibility, and the guests invited to this large-scale auction seem to have already been fixed."
"The seating has already been arranged, but the invitations...are a bit more difficult to come by."
Ryan was silent for a moment and sighed in his heart. He still had to speak with strength.
The next moment, Ryan's aura suddenly burst out, and Ludovico was instantly shocked by the mid-level strength formed by the brief fusion of Ryan and the void.
㫦……㫦 level! ?
Ludovico's heart was trembling.
But Ryan only released his aura for a moment before retracting it and speaking.
"Can I have an invitation now?"
Ludovico recovered from his shock and nodded quickly, "Yes, of course!"
"Given your strength, it would be an honor for my Red Lion Auction House to have you participate in the auction!"
"Please wait a moment, sir. I'd like to ask the president for instructions."
After getting Ryan's nod, Ludovico stood up from his seat, bowed slightly to Ryan, and then pushed the door open and walked out.
Ludovico closed the door and walked quickly upstairs to the auction house.
