Seeing that René still looked worried, Joan of Arc made a suggestion.
"Have you not rested for several days? How about I perform the sacrament for you again?"
Ryan nodded slightly: "Okay, thank you for your help."
"You go back to your room first, I'll go and call someone to prepare." Joan of Arc bent down and gently kissed Renn's forehead.
Soon after, the sacrament ended, and René lay down on Joan of Arc's lap and fell into a deep sleep.
Joan of Arc gazed serenely at Raine on her lap, and gently smoothed his disheveled hair.
"Go to sleep, get some rest." Joan of Arc gently smoothed out the furrowed brow of Renn.
...
Sunlight streamed through the room, and in the blink of an eye, a day had slipped through Joan of Arc's fingers.
When the morning sun shone on Ryan's face the next morning, Ryan slowly woke up.
Looking at the beautiful woman before him, a hint of tenderness appeared in Renn's eyes.
How long did I sleep?
Joan of Arc gave a sweet smile: "Not long, just one day."
Raine slowly got up, leaned against the headboard, pulled Joan of Arc into his arms, and gently kissed her pink lips.
"You've worked hard, you should rest for a while."
Joan blushed: "It's alright, we're all at the fifth rank now, it's fine if we don't sleep for a day."
Ryan nodded: "Go and arrange things for your church people. I'll go check on how Alves is doing."
Seeing this, Joan of Arc could only nod and say, "Yes."
Ryan pushed open the door and walked out of the room, his face becoming serious again.
Upon arriving at Alves' office, Alves went to greet him.
Ryan waved his hand and asked, "How's the statistics coming along?"
Alves said, "It's more than half done, and it should be finished by tonight."
Seeing Alvis's slightly haggard appearance, Renn sighed softly, exchanged some treasures for Alvis to enhance his mental clarity, and then spoke.
"Just a little longer, and after we leave the Bluebird Territory, I'll give you a proper vacation."
Alves bowed and said half-jokingly, "Then thank you very much, sir. Alves will have to enjoy it properly when the time comes."
“Yes.” Renn nodded.
After leaving Alves's office, Renn went straight to the Knights' headquarters in Granville.
After finding Granville, ask him the same question.
"How's the packing going?"
Granville smiled and said, "My lord, everything is ready. The Crown Guard Knights are ready to depart at any time!"
"There is something that requires your decision."
"What is it?" Renn asked.
"Didn't you say before that the knights should recruit some apprentice knights? I was wondering if you would take them on as well?"
"After all, they have quite good talent, and given time they may become some loyal and reliable knights."
After thinking for a moment, Ryan shook his head and said, "They won't be of any use when we go back this time, so let's not take them with us."
"Besides, it's not like we're not coming back. Let them train on their own at the base first, and everything will be the same as before when we return."
Granville nodded. "I understand."
Renn: "Yes, go and gather the knights. I'll take you all into the secret realm first."
Granville nodded and immediately ordered his men to summon the Knights.
Before long, the Crown Guard Knights assembled in the training ground of the knights' camp, looking imposing and filled with murderous intent.
With a wave of his hand, a spatial vortex appeared in front of the Knights.
Led by Granville, the Crown Guard Knights returned to the secret realm of Rennes.
