Each of them exuded an aura no less than that of a fifth-rank warrior, and even the warhorses they rode were clad in heavy armor.
Over the past three years, Rennes has invested tons of resources to create the current Royal Guard Knights.
Now it's time to make our appearance.
Renn was certain that even if the continent's number one knight order came, the Crown Guard Knights would dare to provoke them.
Grandmaster Granville walked at the head of the knights, his eyes fixed intently on everything around him.
Suddenly, a tremendous dragon roar came from the sky.
call--
It was a giant rock dragon, the size of a small mountain, with a wingspan of several hundred meters.
The dragon's body was covered in scales made of rock, beneath which flowed streams of fiery red magma.
This dragon is not a true pure-blooded dragon, but rather a lava giant that Renn once subdued, transformed into one.
Since dragons are synonymous with power, Rein, wanting to flaunt his return to the Grey family, naturally did whatever it took to attract attention.
The rock dragon hovered above the Knights of the Crown Guard, and Renn stood on its head, slowly moving towards the Gray family's manor.
Raine made no attempt to conceal his aura; the terrifying pressure of a mid-level sixth rank permeated the entire sky.
It took Ryan an hour to walk just a few kilometers to reach the Grey family manor.
The purpose of this trip is to inform the other factions that he, Ryan Grey, has returned.
Bang--
The earthquake was devastating.
The dragon folded its wings and landed on the ground. The Crown Guard Knights plunged their lances into the earth with a loud bang.
Outside the Grey family manor, all the prominent members of the family came out to greet them.
Standing at the very front was naturally Raine's mother, Lyra. She was overjoyed to see her most outstanding son return safely from the Misty Lands.
As the dragon slammed its massive head to the ground, Renn jumped off the dragon's head.
Raine put away his imposing manner, walked up to his slightly weathered mother, and knelt on one knee.
"Mother, your son has returned."
Lyra burst into tears of joy and quickly pulled Renn to his feet, then began to rub him incessantly.
"Son, were you hurt in the Misty Lands? Were you injured?"
Ryan laughed and said, "No way, look at my son, he doesn't look injured at all. Besides, with my son's abilities, you should be worried about him not being too arrogant."
Lyra breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that Raine was really not injured.
"Yeah, it's good that you're alright. I don't care about anyone else."
Renn turned his gaze to a familiar yet unfamiliar figure standing to the side, reeking of alcohol.
Alvin Gray.
His older brother.
"Big brother, you're back." Renn stepped forward and hugged his big brother whom he hadn't seen in a long time.
Yawen also hugged Renn, and the two separated. Yawen, looking dejected, didn't dare to look Renn in the eye.
"Yeah, Renn, you've really grown up. You're much better than your good-for-nothing older brother." Yawen forced a few laughs.
Ryan was a little confused. In his memory, Yavin was the kind of person who was positive, fearless and daring.
Why is he now drowning his sorrows in alcohol?
However, Renn didn't ask any more questions, planning to find a time later to ask in detail.
Ryan turned his gaze to Jonas beside him, his expression becoming much more serious.
"Uncle Qiao, thank you for your hard work these past few days."
Jonas shook his head. "Fortunately, with you back, young master, the family has finally found its pillar of support."
Leila said, "Alright, alright, let's go back to the manor first. What kind of behavior is it to stand at the gate?"
Seeing this, Ryan and Jonas stopped trying to continue their conversation.
With a wave of his hand, Renn recalled the massive rock dragon behind him back into the secret realm, and then looked at Granville behind him and spoke.
"Granville, take the Knights back to the family headquarters."
Granville slapped his right hand on his chest armor, making a crisp sound: "Yes, sir."
He turned his horse around and led the Crown Guard Knights toward the Grey family's garrison.
