Chapter 546 That Forgotten History (1/2)

Chapter 546 That Forgotten History Because of Ophelia's special status, it wasn't Ophelia who went to the Misty Lands from the Elf Forest to compete for the Divine Protection Energy, but rather several other elves of considerable strength.

Now that she sees how quickly Raine's strength has improved, Ophelia is even more curious about the Misty Lands.

Raine sat down on the grass, shook his head and sighed, "It's not like what's written in the books. Although there are more treasures in the Misty Lands, they're not everywhere."

Ophelia sat down playfully next to Renn, taking a small bite of her apple, and tilted her head with shining eyes as she spoke.

"Raine, tell me about the Misty Lands!"

Renn lay back on the soft grass, his nose filled with the fresh scent of grass and the virgin fragrance emanating from Ophelia.

The Elf Mother Tree pulled its leaves closer to Renn, shielding him from the glaring sunlight.

Ophelia also lay back, side by side with Raine on the grass, looking at the lush green leaves and the azure sky above.

"The Misty Lands aren't as interesting as you think," Raine said.

"That place is full of fighting and scheming. If you, a girl like you, went there, you'd probably be devoured by someone else in less than a day."

Ophelia pouted and retorted, "What?! I have the heart of an elf, no one can fool me!"

Raine laughed and told Ophelia some interesting stories about the Misty Lands, but didn't mention the cruelty of war.

An hour passed slowly, and Renn smiled as he looked at the expectation in Ophelia's eyes.

"I can take you to see the Misty Lands when you have time. It's much more interesting to see it for yourself than for me to tell you."

Renn wasn't too worried about Ophelia's safety, since the Misty Lands were practically his backyard now, the second safest place after his secret realm.

Just then, a streak of light flew from afar and exploded in front of the two of them, from which Estella's voice came out.

"Raine, Ophelia, lunch is ready."

Upon hearing this, the two got up from the grass. After collecting the scattered apples into the secret realm, Raine and Ophelia flew one after the other toward a treehouse.

Inside a spacious room of the treehouse, a long wooden table was laden with all sorts of delicacies from the Elf Forest.

The diet mainly consists of fresh fruits and vegetables, supplemented by noodles and pastries, but meat is still not included, just like before.

The three took their seats one after another, and the elves in the room stood behind them to serve them.

The luncheon quickly passed in casual conversation among the three.

Afterwards, Estella pulled Ophelia away to handle the affairs, leaving Rein free to roam the elven forest.

As for the room where Renne was to rest, Estella arranged for him to stay in one of the rooms in her treehouse.

Instead of visiting the elven market in the elven forest, Renn returned to the elven mother tree, lay down on the grass for a quiet rest, and pondered the unfinished topic in the Book of History.

In the spiritual world.

Raine found the spirit of the Book of History and asked, "Tell me about that forgotten part of history you just mentioned."

The Book of History inquired, "Master, would you like to personally explore that period of history, or would you prefer me to narrate it?"

"You can narrate it."

The spirit of the Book of History nodded, conjured a chair behind Raine, and pulled Raine to sit down.

Seeing this, the book spirit scoffed unhappily.
