"Otto? Why are you here? Did His Majesty ask you to welcome the guests today?"
Otto nodded. "Yes, the Empire has been preparing for today's birthday banquet for a long time, and people from the Principality of Hermist and the Pollux Federation will be attending."
"Polax Federation? Will they send someone?" Ryan frowned to express his doubts.
The Empire and the Pollux Federation have been in a state of war, which means that neither side is willing to submit to the other.
Therefore, the relationship between the two sides has always been not very good.
Otto nodded after hearing Ryan's question.
"Well, I heard from my father that although the relationship between the two countries is not very good, it is not a slap in the face for them to lower their posture and offer congratulations."
"That's why I'm waiting here to greet you."
Hearing this, Ryan nodded and said, "Okay, then I'll go in first and won't accompany you."
"Well, have fun at the dinner party. Oh, by the way, Ryan, what did I tell you about?"
Looking at the mysterious Otto, Ryan shook his head helplessly.
"I'll remember it. Give me the girl's information tomorrow and I'll give you some advice."
Hearing this, Otto smiled and patted Ryan's shoulder, "Okay, then I'll rely on you."
Then Ryan followed the maid and quickly arrived at a huge palace.
Unlike the previous dinner, this time there were more people coming and their identities were more diverse.
Because everyone in the palace was talking and there were a lot of people, Ryan's arrival did not cause much of a stir.
Entering the palace, there are many different areas, each representing a family or a force.
Then Ryan came to the Gray family's place in the palace.
As soon as Ryan came over, the nobles from the Grey family's side branches who were sitting in their seats came forward one after another, hoping to get close to Ryan.
"Master Ryan, evening."
"Master Ryan is still as charming as ever."
Ryan exchanged some token greetings with them and then sat down to wait.
Seeing this, the various collateral nobles stopped disturbing Ryan and gathered together to discuss their recent affairs.
Looking at the red wine on the table, Ryan poured himself a glass and tasted it.
Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he saw a dark figure slowly walking towards him.
Ryan turned his head slightly to look at the person who came.
It was the eldest princess Caroline.
Caroline, wearing a purple-black dress, is like a blooming rose, exuding a charming fragrance.
"Why are you drinking alone? All the students from the academy are over there, Ryan, why don't you go check them out?"
Caroline asked as she came to sit down in the seat next to Ryan.
Ryan shook his head in response to Caroline's question.
"Forget it. If I go to the academy, the atmosphere will be cold. Let them have fun on their own."
"What about you, Caroline? You're not going? And you came to me."
Caroline smiled and said, "I'm the same as you. If I go, no one will have anything to talk about, so I just decided not to go."
Hearing this, Ryan poured Caroline a glass of red wine.
"Then we have to drink."
Caroline chuckled twice, picked up her glass and clinked it with Ryan.
Then they both drank it all in one gulp.
Although Caroline was very slim and very close to Ryan, Ryan still didn't dare to touch her.
After all, this is a princess, not a noble. If she can't be handled properly, Ryan might as well tie her directly to the royal car.
The two of them, who had a slight consensus, had a pleasant conversation.
Suddenly, a team of about a dozen people walked in from outside the palace, carrying a box behind them.
Caroline narrowed her eyes slightly and spoke to Ryan.
"The Pollax Federation has arrived."
