Raine turned his head to the other side. Having spent several years with Lilith in the secret realm, he had long since developed a resistance to Lilith's allure.

Renn rolled his eyes at Lilith and shifted his gaze to Lucifer.

The sky was divided in two by Lucifer's darkness and Caspian's dark purple clouds.

Kaspian forcefully suppressed his sixth sense, which was constantly warning him, and said coldly:

Lucifer let out a cold laugh: "Be an enemy? As long as it's my master's order, what does it matter if I'm an enemy of the world?"

In an instant, a huge, dark maw appeared behind Kaspian and swallowed him whole.
The swallowed Caspen instantly lost its hearing, sight, and senses, and its entire body continued to fall into the endless darkness, with the pitch blackness enveloping Caspen constantly eroding its consciousness.

A chaotic aura swirled around Kaspian, isolating him from the darkness that enveloped him. As the chaotic aura around Kaspian dissipated, the black sphere that had devoured Kaspian suddenly exploded.
But the moment the black sphere exploded and Kasperian's vision returned, Lucifer was already behind Kasperian, a jet-black dagger in his hand aimed at Kasperian's throat.
"A curtain of chaos!"
An extremely violent and chaotic aura condensed around Caspian, forming a barrier that distorted his senses—this was what Caspian considered his strongest defense.
But the dagger in Lucifer's hand was no ordinary dagger.
Instead, it was the broken divine essence that Lucifer used to advance to demigod status.
It was also once the artifact of the God of Night—Requiem for the Night.
The distorted curtain beside Kaspian was pierced by the Requiem for only a breath before it was torn apart.
"Impossible!" Caspian exclaimed in shock! He then turned his body away.
The lullaby pierced through the veil of chaos, and although Kaspian dodged it by the throat, it still struck Kaspian's left arm.
Lucifer landed a successful blow, a mocking smile playing on his lips.
Upon being stabbed, Caspian felt a wave of drowsiness wash over him, and the chaotic energy within his body immediately surged forth, pushing Lucifer away.
Kaspian clutched the wound on his left arm, looking at the black dagger in Lucifer's hand with some fear.
So close!
He almost listened to the whispers in his mind and fell into a deep sleep forever!
Why?! They're both at the mid-level eighth rank, yet he didn't have a single chance to retaliate?!
As if sensing what Caspian was thinking, Lucifer spoke expressionlessly:
"There are differences even among demigods, and to me, you are no different from a disgusting maggot."
