Chapter 625 is... a person!? (2/2)

The others around the square were equally shocked to see the figure beside Flora, and they all began to discuss it amongst themselves.

Damian recalled the giant deer into his summoning space, walked solemnly to Flora, and transmitted his voice.

“Your Highness Flora, summoning a human is no small matter, and this person is probably not as simple as he seems.”

"I believe this message needs to be communicated to His Majesty and the Healing Church. Please hand him over to me."

Upon hearing this, Flora looked at Damian and transmitted her voice, "You mean... his strength is very high?"

Damian was silent for a moment, then shook his head: "I don't know, but he gave me a dangerous feeling."

Flora looked at the contract mark on the hand of the unconscious man on the ground, narrowed her eyes and said, "No! He was summoned by me, Flora, he is my summoned creature."

“I don’t want you to take him away.” Flora met Damian’s gaze.

Damian sighed inwardly and nodded: "Alright, but I still need to report this matter to His Majesty and the Healing Church."

Flora said, "Okay."

After the two finished their telepathic conversation, Flora looked at the maids and guards around the square and said...

“You guys come here and take him back to my room.”

The guards exchanged glances, nodded, walked to the square, lifted the figure, and then followed Flora out of the square.

Damian looked at the other trainees around the square and said, "Today's selection ceremony is suspended. Everyone, please leave now. I will inform you of the start time later."

After saying that, Damian transformed into a white streak of light and flew towards the palace.

...

Two days later.

Flora's room.

The room was a gathering place for various factions.

Flora's second brother and mother, Dean Damian, some nobles of the empire, the emperor's confidants, the archbishop of the Healing Church, and other important figures gathered together.

"How is it?" an imperial nobleman asked.

The Archbishop of the Healing Church, dressed in an emerald green robe, released his hand from Renn's wrist as he lay on the bed, and said:

“No problem, just a second-tier intermediate mage. As for the terrifying aura that Dean Damian mentioned earlier, I didn’t detect it.”

The archbishop's investigation yielded the same results as the Empire's: neither detected the threatening aura that Damian had described.

Damian stood silently to one side of the room, saying nothing.

"And your identity?" another imperial nobleman asked.

The archbishop shook his head: "We did not find any information about him in the church's database. However, as you all know, the church's records cannot include everyone on the continent."

At this moment, Duke Orion, the emperor's confidant, inquired:

"Then why was he summoned by Princess Flora? There's no precedent for this."

The archbishop pondered for a moment and said, "Perhaps he was unlucky enough to accidentally enter some spatial rift and was summoned by Princess Flora while wandering through the rift. Although the probability is very small, it is not impossible."

Everyone in the room fell silent upon hearing this.

Although it sounds absurd, all the circumstances do indeed point to the possibility the archbishop just mentioned.

Seeing that no one had any further questions, the archbishop bowed slightly and said, "Now that the matter has been resolved, I will take my men and leave."

Duke Orion, the emperor's confidant, nodded: "Very well, I'll see you off."
