Chapter 588 God of the Wall: Little...Little Baby? (2/2)

A giant soldier fell from the gods.

"A Godfall Giant Weapon!? I didn't expect you little brat to have something like this. So you weren't lying to me." The shield said.

Renn's forehead vein throbbed; that shield's mouth really stinked.

The shield then asked, "Where did that divine power come from just now? Did you give it to me, you brat?"

"Quick! Give me some more! Once I recover, I'll make you my priest!"

Rein remained silent, rose from the pool, and slowly walked toward the fallen giant soldier.

After placing the shield on the ground, Renn mounted the Godfall Giant and began to control it.

Seeing the cannon barrel of the fallen god-slaying giant moving towards him, Shield quickly stopped it: "Hey, hey, hey! What are you doing! Let's talk this out! This is no joke!"

Raine asked, "What do you call me now?"

The shield blurted out, "Little brat..."

Clang—

The sound of a giant, fallen god-like soldier being loaded.

Shield: "Holy crap! No! You... I... What the hell should a human baby be called if not 'little brat'?! Damn it!"

After a long while, the shield seemed to remember something and tentatively said:

"Little...little baby?"

Renn was shocked, looking at the shield with the eyes of someone who looked at a lunatic.

"Are you... out of your mind?"

The shield was silent for a while, then said, "Well, I've been asleep for too long, so my memories are a bit missing and inaccurate. You could say I'm mentally ill, and that's not wrong."

Raine took a deep breath and jumped off the Godfall Giant Soldier, returning it to the secret realm.

“I can grant you divine power, but you must answer some questions for me,” Raine said, gripping the shield in his hand.

Shield: "Hey! Great! You're much more generous than Kaspian, little one!"

"Damn it! My name is Ryan, you called me by my name! If you call me by those three words again, I'll throw you into the latrine!!" Ryan couldn't help but swear.

Shield: "Good! Little... Renn, your personality is more to my liking! Men should be a bit rugged."

Raine took a deep breath, sat back down by the pool, took a sip of wine, and silently invoked the goddess of life.

"Your Majesty, are you familiar with the name Abu Dhabi?"

Upon hearing Renn's question, the Goddess of Life of the Divine Realm pondered for a moment before speaking.

"Abu Dhabi? That sounds familiar. Oh right, that's the name of the first [God of the Wall]. What's wrong?"

"Are you familiar with him?" Ryan asked.

The Goddess of Life rolled her eyes at Renn: "How could that be? That was the first generation of the God of the Wall! How many divine eras are there between him and me!"

"But now that you mention it, it seems that since the God of the Wall died, no new God of the Wall has been born."

Ryan said, "Would you believe me if I said he's in my hands right now?"

The Goddess of Life remained silent for a moment, then turned her gaze to Renn from the divine realm.

The next moment.

"Ah!" the goddess of life exclaimed.

"Raine, why aren't you dressed?!"

Ryan: "What clothes should I wear while taking a bath? Besides, I'm wearing pants."

The goddess of life blushed and retorted, "Put it on!!"

Renn pursed his lips, got out of the pool, put on his bathrobe, and only then did the Goddess of Life turn her gaze back to Renn.

She looked at the small shield floating beside Renn, a long-lost thoughtfulness appearing in her eyes.

"It really is the aura of the God of Defense! Abu Dhabi is still alive?"
