Chapter 604 Intelligence Preparation for the Sea of Annihilation "You seem a little confused. Is there anything I can do for you?"
Seeing that Renn's brows were furrowed, the old elf curator walked over to Renn and asked him in a low voice.
Renn turned his head to look at the kind-looking old elf and asked with a smile, "Old man, what should I be careful about if I want to cross the Sea of Annihilation?"
The old elf was taken aback; he hadn't expected the young man before him to have such a crazy idea.
“If you’re not joking, I think you need to choose a good burial plot for yourself before heading to the Sea of Annihilation,” the old man said half-jokingly.
"That place is hell for the living, a place where the radiance of the goddess of life cannot reach. For thousands of years, no one has ever entered that ocean and come out again. That is how the Sea of Annihilation got its name."
"If you are interested in the Sea of Annihilation, please give up this interest, as it is extremely dangerous."
Ryan smiled. "I'll consider your opinion. Oh, by the way, could you prepare a cup of black tea for me?"
The old elf nodded: "Of course, please wait a moment."
Before long, the old man came to Renn's side with a tea tray and placed the black tea in front of him.
Please enjoy your meal.
Ryan picked up his teacup, took a small sip, and sat down to finish reviewing the documents in his hand.
By the time Ryan finished reviewing the documents, he had also finished the black tea in his teacup.
He got up from his chair, greeted the old Gym Leader, and left the Golden Library.
Outside the library, a white-haired elf dressed in a dark green suit had been waiting for a long time.
Seeing Ryan emerge from the Golden Library, she went to greet him and said:
“Lord Renn, I am Bianca, the executive officer in charge of diplomacy for the Golden Forest.”
"Judging from your appearance, you must have found the information you need in the library. Please come with me; Lord Anselmo is waiting for you in the main hall to enjoy lunch together."
Renn nodded in acknowledgment, then followed Bianca as they flew toward the Golden Tree.
The two landed at the entrance of a white palace at the base of the Golden Tree.
After Bianca presented her token, she entered the palace amidst bows from several squads of elven guards.
Led by Bianca, Renn met Anselmo, who had been waiting for a long time, in a spacious dining room in the palace.
"You've arrived in Rennes. How did it go? Did you find the information you were looking for?" Anselmo, holding a glass of white wine, stood in front of the French windows and turned his head to look at Rennes as he entered.
Bianca bowed to Anselmo and then slowly left the restaurant.
After a moment of silence, Raine said, "I only have a rudimentary understanding of the Sea of Annihilation. I'm still far from understanding it. Right now, I don't even know if there are any other creatures in the Sea of Annihilation."
Anselmo said, "There's nothing we can do. The Sea of Annihilation is just too far away, and the level of danger is unknown. It's normal that the library has few records of it."
"If you want to know more details, you can go to King Bertrand of the Southern Islands. He should know some more details."
Renn rolled his eyes at Anselmo and said, "You should know what the relationship is between the Southern Sea Islands and the Empire, shouldn't you?"
“If Bertrand tells me this kind of secret information, I’m afraid he’ll rip me off.”
Anselmo did not deny what Rein said, and asked:
"What do you need information about the Sea of Annihilation for? Do you want to go in and take a look?"
Renn nodded: "Yes."
Anselmo, who was only joking, was stunned, speechless.
"You're not kidding!? That's not a place you can just walk into!"
Anselmo retorted, "Don't think you can go anywhere on the continent just because Lucifer has advanced to the intermediate demigod level! That's no joke!"
As Renn walked toward the dining table, Lucifer emerged from Renn's shadow, walked in front of Renn, and pulled out a chair.
“I have a reason to go,” Raine said, sitting down in a chair.
Anselmo let out a heavy sigh, shifting his gaze from Renn's face to the view outside the window. After a long silence, he spoke:
