"Good evening, Marquis Cole," Lyman greeted with a smile as he accepted the invitation from a middle-aged man in a black tuxedo.
Marquis Cole extended his hand to shake hands with Lyman and said, "Good evening, Marquis Mitchell."
Then the Marquis of Cole looked at Anna, who stood gracefully beside Lyman, and took a bracelet from his pocket and handed it to Anna.
"This must be Miss Anna. She is indeed exceptionally beautiful, a true jewel of the empire."
"How can we meet without a gift? This is a small token of my appreciation, Miss Anna!"
“Oh, by the way, my name is Keane Cole.” Marquis Cole emphasized his name.
Anna chuckled as she accepted Marquis Cole's bracelet, nodding and smiling.
"Thank you, Uncle Cole."
"Yes, don't be shy."
Seeing this, the Marquis of Cole walked into the manor with satisfaction.
Anna handed the bracelet to the maid beside her, feeling incredibly proud.
"Father, aren't I amazing? This is already the twenty-third gift!" Anna proudly transmitted her voice to Lyman.
Lyman nodded helplessly: "Impressive, impressive."
He glanced at the maidservant beside him, whose hands were adorned with bracelets and magic rings, and felt a surge of emotion and pride.
That's my son-in-law! He's practically my son!
Upon seeing an acquaintance, Lyman quickly stepped forward and took the invitation from her: "Good evening, Sylvia."
Sylvia smiled, her ample bosom trembling with her movements, which aroused Anna's envy.
"Good evening, Lyman. The Mitchell family is certainly having a lively time today~" Sylvia licked her lips.
Lyman and Sylvia were close friends, so they addressed each other by their first names without using honorifics.
Lyman smiled modestly and said, "You know why, Sylvia. Come on in, I've reserved a good seat for you."
Sylvia nodded, stepped forward to Anna, pinched Anna's cheek, and said.
"Anna has really found a good man~ Her aunt is so envious."
"Here, this is a little gift from your aunt. I guarantee it will be very effective~" Sylvia took out a magic ring and put it in Anna's palm.
Sylvia bent down and whispered in Anna's ear, "It's very effective at making you bigger~ But remember to use it with Young Master Rein."
Anna's face flushed red upon hearing this.
“Aunt Sylvia!” Anna exclaimed, stamping her foot.
"Hehehe." Sylvia walked into the manor with a smile.
Anna blushed as she put on the ring, her heart still pounding as she thought of the lewd things she and Rein had done.
Just then, the appearance of a carriage not far from the long line of carriages caused a commotion among the crowd.
"Look! It's the Grey family's carriage!"
"Is this...Young Master Renn?"
"Of course!"
The carriage bearing the lion's mark slowly made its way to the entrance of the banquet.
The nobles still in line didn't sense anything amiss; everyone thought that what Renn was doing was the right thing to do, and some carriages blocking the way quickly made way.
The coachman proudly accepted the gazes of the many nobles on the carriage, and with his superb driving skills, he quickly drove the carriage to the gate of the manor.
The coachman jumped down from the carriage, took out a stool, placed it at the carriage door, and gently knocked on the door.
"Young Master, the Mitchell family has arrived."
After learning that Rein would be attending today, the nobles of the royal city sent messengers to the Mitchell family to inform Lyman that they wished to accept the invitation.
